Triple M Network

Sinead O’Connor? Triple M 90s Rock?

More like Smooth 90s

Triple M Country?

They need to start up a new Triple M station that just plays a mix of all the music heard on the Triple M branded stations in Australia.

They could call it “Triple M Cluster F*ck”.

I agree. Stations need to go back to variety. That’s why coles has been so successful. Triple m 80s, 90’s, modern, Aussie, classic hits & rock, country with some announcers. I wouldn’t switch it off

Has been since the start of the year. Nothing new.

He probably means live in breakfast.

Can’t be Melbourne as they rely heavily on NRL and AFL chats on the stations.

At the same time, it’s evident that the Hot Breakfast is coming to the end of its lifespan.

Most definitely

I don’t mind it, good for background music, short car trips. Although …

… makes no sense. Then again any association with rock and the Triple M brand has been long pissed away. Even worse in Perth, where ‘Triple M’ is actually Mix 94.5, which is far from rock.

Agree that song is out of place although overall it’s sounding quite ‘rock’. I’m not hating it but hopefully they won’t get repetitive like Triple M are very prone to do.

Regarding Sinead they could have gotten away with Emperor’s New Clothes.

I can go one better…Our Kylie and Sneaker Pimps in quick succession! I like that Sneaker Pimps song but it’s definitely not rock; it would be more at home on Buddha or SBS Chill.

Kylie?
On a Triple M DAB station?
:astonished:

What is the world coming to?

Not so ‘hot’ anymore.

mmmelb.com.au was only used from late 2003. Before that mmm.com.au and triplem.com.au were used for Triple M Melbourne.

Thought the decision not to replace Wil Anderson when he left the show was a telling sign. Wouldn’t be surprised if the show finishes at the end of this ratings year

Tori Amos - Cornflake Girl
:star_struck: I have not heard that song since the 90’s. It was a personal favourite of mine back then.

I think the Hot Breakfast is at its prime. A well oiled machine by now

Danny Lakey will move from presenting late nights on the Hit Network to cross over to the Triple M Network, where he will host a new national night time show.
