Triple M Network

Sounds like Luke Bona isn’t on for a second Monday morning in a row! Anyone know what’s going on??

@Cherry_Bomb Him and Jess suffered the same fate as other employees: 20% pay cut and reduced to four days now until mid July.

So Triple M are replacing Ed & Darc this week with Bridge & Leemo with Sarah Maree (anchor). Why doesn’t Rosie get a mention with the Hot Breakfast ?

Sarah Maree is the mornings announcer so I guess they want her to aliesha on the line up somewhere?
That’s the only excuse I could find. Anchors aren’t normally included but I get your point.

Tend to agree with both points. They need to push Sarah Maree’s name as she is a permanent announcer that normally follows the Hot Breakfast.

The “Brig & Lehmo” duo is also a Melbourne radio institution so important they brand them like that, hence why it’s “Brig & Lehmo… with Sarah Maree”.

While talking Brig & Lehmo, I’m hoping they can reunite permanently somewhere one day, similar to Grubby and Dee Dee. Probably 3AW or even 774 Breakfast would suit their style (although Sammy J seems to be working out well there so far).

So no local drive show?

Sad when they once boasted being the only live and local commercial FM station at drive.

I’m guessing cost cutting led to it being a music shift at early drive.

I would move Kennedy Molloy to either take it live, or take it delayed later at night.

Very amusing segment this morning with a linkup between 3MMM and 5MMM breakfast shows playing up the VIC v SA rivalry.

Brig, Lehmo and Sarah-Maree filling in for The Hot Breakfast from tomorrow morning for the week.

Sarah Marree would be great in a drive show with some comics like a Sam Mac.

Now there’s a blast from the past. I really enjoyed Sam Mac’s live evening shift on Triple M Sydney.

He’s a gun solo on radio.

A markedly reduced cost local drive show when that ‘protected species’ of a national drive shown is finally dumped.

How much longer will the SCA board allow Dave and Fitzy to carry such a poorly performing national drive show?

I don’t mind Kennedy Molloy… I find Mick one of our nations most funniest comedians.

But I do think there should be a chance to have a local evening show following K&M after The Rush Hour from 7-9pm.

I don’t mind them either and Mick is talented, unfortunately the audience isn’t there for the drive show.

The whole network needs a refresh. Still sounds exactly the same as it was in the 90’s.
They still play the same music ffs 30 years later.
They could put a screamer of a drive show on but would fly over the heads of their audience.
I agree, there’s nothing funny or interesting about the show, just bland

They should bring in more modern rock/alternate rock but still play the classics. Just like B-Rock.
