This evening’s Today Tonight Perth is being presented by Monika Kos pre-recorded from Southbank in Melbourne.
Why? Isn’t it Today Tonight Perth?

Tomorrow’s edition of today tonight Perth is coming from the MCG too.
Monika broke the rules and actually said good night tonight! A rarity in the west.

Paul Makin is filling in for Rosanna Mangiarelli in Adelaide, he presented for the week.
Tonight was Paul Makin’s last night filling in on Today Tonight Adelaide. He’s retiring from reporting/presenting on television and taking on a radio role in Queensland instead. Ending with a wave:
Farewell, Paul. Now the question will be who will fill in for Rosanna from now on…
Mike Smithson sometimes fills in for Rosanna, Jess Adamson did once, so probably one of them.
Would’ve been nice to bring some of the staff and other presenters on-set for a congratulatory farewell.
I always enjoyed watching Paul, he was as much a part of the show as Rosanna. Best of luck to him!

This evening’s Adelaide programme opened with the glass/perspex looking blinds closed and a live cross to cover the growing Halloween decorating craze in Adelaide, followed by a traditional recorded segment (with a spooky twist 
):
I didn’t even realise there were “blinds” on the newsroom window. Matches the sports side of the desk.
Yeah, they’re usually closed for 7 News but open for Today Tonight. I assume they were borrowed for 7’s 2018 SA Election coverage panel area, behind Melbourne’s old news desk:
… where in the cap above you can see each vertical panel/blind is suspended.
