Just wondering, where is Brooke doing entertainment from?

I presume it is Studio 24/the Regional set.

Yes. That’s also where the 5am news is coming from.

Any caps, what studio is 24 again? 6pm news?

Studio 24 is used for regional bulletins in NSW/ACT markets

Stevie Jacobs did a tour of the studios back a few years ago and actually showed Studio 24.

It’s a small studio as it as far as I’m aware only needs to house 1 or 2 people at most at a time.

Today’s watermark says “Today Perth”.

Not sure if they’ll fix it soon or how long it has been like this (in NSW).

They should get Julie Snook in to do sport while Alex is doing the news.

They don’t want more than 3 in the studio.

Who says she has to be in the studio?

Although I guess with no sport happening they probably don’t need a sports presenter.

Brett McLeod is filling in for Richard Wilkins again this weekend.

I noticed on the news tonight that in two separate reports, one national and one local, that it had intentionally incorporated a grab from Today, which added nothing to the story. Must be one of Darren’s latest strategies…

Rebecca Maddern is back hosting this weekend.
It looks like Bec and Brett are hosting from the Melbourne news studio with Lara Vella presenting news from the Today studio in Sydney.

Looks like today coming from the Melbourne news set.

Looks so much better from the news studio.

Maybe this will be the regular set-up with Rebecca Maddern not recommended to travel Melbourne to Sydney.

Hopefully without Brett

Let’s brainstorm better Melbourne male (or even female) co-hosts.

I’ll start … Dougal Beaty.
