Great chemistry with the team this morning, Davina is always great in any role she does at Nine.
I’ve always liked Lara and have said numerous times here she deserves a full-time presenting role at Nine.

Well they haven’t really got much choice. David and Richard are in quarantine and Alex Cullen and Brenton Ragless have already worked 5 days. Ben Fordham will be with Bec and Chris Kohler is in Melbourne.
It is surprising that despite all the cast changes, they haven’t managed to give Lara a role.

Today was live into Queensland this morning - though that was always the schedule to accommodate the rugby league in the afternoon.

They should have someone in that Weekend Today chair who is being groomed as a replacement for Karl. Steinfort has potential if they surround him with the right team. This weekend demonstrates that. Clearly Wilkins will never get the weekday gig so why do they persist with him in that role?
Reports today that Karl has new management with international contacts that could see him leave the country to pursue his career.

Tom and Bec Maddern would be better than Richard. Lara Vella should stay on as permanent newsreader or sports reader if they don’t want to replace Jayne.

Not sure why was he granted leave so early in the year in the first place. news.com.au reports the inconsistencies will continue with his fill-ins.
