Today (2015-Sept 2020)

It’s people like you who’d complain if there was no coverage of something that’s killing hundreds around the world.

Coronavirus Cases: 119,292
Deaths: 4,300

That looks like thousands to me. This is in three months. Not enough for you?

Poor post. Of course it’s getting attention cos there’s 100 cases in Australia. How many Ebola cases got to Australia?

While there has been fearmongering in some sections of the media, your whataboutism argument is weak.

Do you mean Karl and Ally presenting a local version of Today specifically for Perth or STW producing a local version of the show? Because the latter already happens as 5 segments across the show and has been the case for years. Seven does the same.

Channel 9 have ordered staff at today extra to self isolate. What about hosts? This is big

Assuming the flagship 5.30-9 Today production staff are mostly unaffected (Karl is on ACA tonight so clearly not in isolation) I wouldn’t mind betting that the main hosts may continue until 11.30. Even if Tracey and Alex host Extra, it would mean they wouldn’t have to source a new production crew. If not, I’m not sure who would be next in line to replace the entire weekday hosting lineup. I saw a statement from 9 which said that affected areas have been closed off for cleaning, so Extra will likely be coming from studio 22 tomorrow

I’m thinking for Today Extra it could be Richard Wilkins and Brooke Boney hosting.

Though I also wouldn’t be surprised if there was no Extra and Today or Morning News will take the 9-12 slot.

Where do you suppose ACA will be broadcast from then?

I guess we will find out at 7pm.

In a bunker?

Richard is also in isolation

They used Studio 3 tonight for ACA with Karl.

Just thought I’ll point out The Today Show gets more views on a Tik Tok video than the show’s actual ratings in almost a week combined.

Might as well as broadcast the whole show to Tik Tok

Today beaten by News Breakfast for the third time this week. That’s embarrassing.

It’s quite incredible. However, it’s great our national broadcaster is becoming competitive within the morning breakfast slot.
