I always thought that Brad would be a good fit too, he’s likeable, knowledgeable in his field and would bring the Melbourne viewers in.

None of this happened today.
Clearly the Daily Mail has some quality “journalists” with big futures ahead of them… if an organisation is going to continually hunt people/ shows at least learn how to spell.

The board was also asked (at today’s AGM) about the editorial decision to run a front page story about Karl Stefanovic’s return to the Today show on the weekend, rather than dedicate the space to coverage of the catastrophic bushfires currently raging across the country. A shareholder asked if the decision was influenced at all by Nine execs, and said those shareholders who came across in the Fairfax merger found the situation ‘lamentable’ for what was once a ‘paper of record’.
(Nine CEO Hugh) Marks assured shareholders that the choice had not been made, or influenced, by Nine’s executives, and said that sometimes editors made mistakes on their choice of coverage.

Cause they’re boring.
They need more people to bounce off.
Just because they’ve announced new hosts for next year doesn’t mean they should just give up and dish up a half arsed product until then.
