It’s more likely that Nine is wooing Virginia Trioli instead, seeing Hugh Marks is cosying up with her in the Canberra mid-winter ball.
She just signed to take over from Jon Faine on 774. Can’t see her moving for 10 years

Terrible idea. Tony Jones is dreadful. Karl was supposedly the reason for dropping ratings in 2018 so why would you put him front and centre again?
Replace Steinfort with Fordham, replace Jones with basically anyone and things will improve given time.

Do we really need a sports presenter? If I was producing today, I would scrap that position and include it with Tom’s news. I would then introduce Today Sports Editor, who can appear Mondays & Fridays for a sports wrap PLUS when big sports news happens.

Did they welcome him back? Still captioned as a Nine US Correspondent perhaps confirming a story at the time of his retirement that he still needed to be employed by Nine for his visa.

Rob do say he would be doing occassional work and mentoring .He has filed two reports for Nine News in recent months.

I think the problem is that interest in the Emmys has really dropped off in recent years. They are not really popular with a widespread audience which has everything to do with the splintering of TV audiences across many channels and streaming services.
The quality actors nominated are from quality shows with much smaller audiences.
It’s not unusual for most people to have never heard of the shows and actors in most categories. So it makes sense that the whole event does not appeal to many. I can understand Australian networks not throwing heaps of money and resources into this event now.

Shocking ratings for Today yesterday. 130,000 behind Sunrise with News Breakfast recording an equal rating. and outrated by Sunrise Early. One of the lowest numbers recorded so far. Looks like The Beatles were a bust.

Who would have guessed. 
How could they have known that a band from 50 years ago would not be that interesting to viewers under 50? 
Looks like @BrekkyTV couldn’t spread the message through social media to get all his milennials mates to watch.
