To be fair I love their music but I’m not interested in what Today or Sunrise are doing with their music.

Tom Steinfort and Tony Jones will be at Punt Road Oval in Melbourne tomorrow morning.
There was a promo just before they started E-News at 6:58am. Stevie was on a train and telling the viewers to catch up the Today Show on 9Now.
Anyone saw that
Its approaching the end of September. I would expect conversations would now be occurring throughout the corridors at TCN9.
I think we can all safely start discussing/predicting who we think will be fronting the today show next year because without a shadow of a doubt Nine as a business can not let the show carry on like this.
Make no mistake, conversations will be taking place at TCN and they won’t be necessarily good ones.

Resurrect Agro, team him up with a bimbo, run cartoons and watch the magic happen.
I’m only half joking. Nine needs to stop pouring money into the old rust bucket that is Today and start from scratch with something completely different. They promise something new every time they make a talent or EP change but never deliver anything fresh and innovative. I’m sick and tired of reading about the musical chairs on that show.
They had a puppet but they sacked him when he was left to his own devices.
What should IMO, be the biggest priorities for Today:
#1: Improving the quality of the content. You know, the thing that the average viewer actually tunes in for.
#2: Finding a mix of presenters who’ve got media histories in different markets. I mean for goodness sake Nine, are you aiming your breakfast show at a national audience or only Sydneysiders?
…and with Karl Stefanovic being slammed on social media for remarks he made about Greta Thunberg on 2GB yesterday, I think the chances of him making a Today comeback are now slim to none!
I’d add that the ratings for This Time Next Year (less than 400k for the most recent ep) would make the chances of a Today comeback for Karl exactly zero. He’s lost his appeal with Nine’s audience.
Stefanovic’s ratings are higher than Sunrise then. Good career move.

So what do people think they’ll do?
A) replace the whole team again or
B) replace one host
I think whatever happens Tom will be gone for sure.
If they’re smart enough, they won’t just get rid of the whole team. Viewers hate upheaval and massive change.
If they want to replace anyone, then they should do some research on individual people. When they’re on holidays, try other people out and see how they go with viewers.
I think that’s pretty much what happened with Ben. They could have had anyone fill in for Tom but they chose a casual on their payroll. I’d say they’ll do anything to woo Ben back.
Yes but he may not want to do it. When he was interviewed by Fitzy and Wippa, he said he loves doing afternoon radio because it fits in well with his young family. Breakfast television is a killer for a young family.
True but he’d be a fool to not realise that his stint was an audition.
