One would think it would be soon. Two weeks at this time of year is not a lot of time for traction or promo. Though all the online media will be sure to make it front page headlines so they will at least get the word out there.
Such a worry they havenât even tested the new team. Letâs hope theyâre doing all that behind the scenes.
It really is make or break. Theyâll either keep/ gain viewers or loose more to the more familiar programs (News Breakfast and Sunrise) who have in Sunriseâs case, had the same team for well over 13 years. (Bar Sam, obviously - but she still still part of Weekend Sunrise beforehand)
Somehow, I have a feeling that the relaunched Today for 2019 might look/feel like something thatâs been really rushed together and probably shouldâve been saved for the big move from Willoughby to North Sydney in 2020.
Youâd think Nine wouldâve been doing test/dry runs for potential new presenting teams behind the scenes, rather than on-air.
Who says they have to announce the team. They could do a promo to say, " Find out who is joining Georgie in 2019. Wake up with Today from Jan 14." Following Lisa and Karlâs departures, the show experienced an incline in curious viewers to see what they would do.
I wonder why heâs being like that? Thatâs about the 3rd post heâs answered in regards to the show. Heâs embarrassing himself. Every article has said he will be hosting for the 3 weeks so every time he says âsee you tomorrowâ (trying to be a smartarse) it looks ridiculous cause no one is arguing that. Will be very interesting to see if heâs actually been dumped.
Perhaps itâs nothing more complicated than remarking on the Failâs ongoing inability to get anything right. Itâs hardly being a âsmartarseâ to point out the Failâs utter uselessness.
I donât think so. He only created the account last week. But like they arenât saying he did. (Wow. Listen to me sticking up for Daily Mail. Someone shoot me!)
Yep, and where would the current Today viewers turn to while itâs not on air? You would be giving Sunrise and Breakfast an open invitation to gain more viewers over the Christmas break and into 2019.
