According to The Daily Telegraph, Rita Ora (busy filming The Masked Singer US), Jessica Mauboy (starting her Yours Forever tour) and Jason Derulo (touring in Europe) will all leave the show, so only Guy Sebastian will return.

Names in the mix to join Guy are: Adam Lambert, LeAnn Rimes, and Kate Miller-Heidke.

If you watch Seven’s 2024 promo you will see that only Guy is featured (from 0:56 onwards). That’s a sign that only he will stay as a judge.

Isn’t that airing in March, meaning filming would have already been done?

Keith Urban return? Or OGs like Delta back (or is she still on Nine’s books)? And long shots: Seal come back? Bring back the Madden Brothers? Or a brand new local or global star? Or a lesser up and comer name perhaps?

I’ve heard both Guy & Adam are locked in. The 2 females are TBA.

Keith would be okay. The rest… it’s a NO from me!

Adam would be awesome. :white_check_mark:

I think 7’s original panel was pretty good but Jess got annoying very quick with her singing responses etc.

Keith had said before he is up to coming back if it fits his schedule etc

I think Delta is still on Nine’s books, otherwise she won’t have been able to arrange her Christmas special to air on the network in the last four years.

The Voice welcomes new superstar coaches

Three of the world’s best vocalists join Guy Sebastian on the iconic red chairs in 2024

The Seven Network today confirmed three of the world’s best vocalists will take a seat in the most iconic chairs on television for the new season of The Voice – coming to Channel 7 and 7plus later this year.

Internationally acclaimed, multi-platinum-selling, award-winning singer and songwriter LeAnn Rimes; GRAMMY-nominated international artist, actor, philanthropist, and LGBTQ+ activist Adam Lambert; and award-winning Australian singer-songwriter Kate Miller-Heidke will join returning Voice favourite, multi-platinum-selling artist Guy Sebastian, as superstar coaches on the upcoming season, as they vie to discover and mentor Australia’s next singing sensation.

2023 TV WEEK Gold Logie Award-winner Sonia Kruger will be back as host, presiding over the competition as a new group of aspiring artists take to The Voice stage hoping to turn their singing dreams into reality.

LeAnn Rimes said: “I am incredibly honoured and excited to embrace the opportunity of coaching on The Voice. This special chance to mentor and discover new voices throughout Australia is a reflection of the love and support I’ve received from my Australian fans throughout my career. I look forward to returning the love, sharing my experiences, and hearing fresh, promising talent.”

Adam Lambert said: “I am thrilled to be joining the panel of The Voice this season. I have such great memories in Australia and can’t wait to spend some time down under! Australia has contributed some iconic talents and artists to pop culture, it’ll be fun to coach the next generation of talent. You can expect some killer song selections, fashion fashion fashion, and of course, a win for Team Adam!”

Kate Miller-Heidke said: “I am so excited to be joining The Voice, and to sit on the panel alongside these incredible singers. The art and craft of singing has been at the centre of my life and I feel like I have learned some things that might be of help to young or inexperienced performers. I’ll be looking for people with the soul of an artist; people with something to say; who make you lean in and want to know more about them. And I’m really looking forward to getting to know the other coaches. Bring it on!"

Guy Sebastian said: “It’s so good to be back on The Voice! It is always very special to be a part of a show that continues to not only uncover fresh Aussie talent but also shine a bright, well-deserved light on so many talented singers. Adding the insane talent of LeAnn, Kate and Adam on the show this year is going to be killer!! They’re all such amazing, world-class artists who I know will bring something fresh and incredible to the season. Let’s go!”

Seven’s Chief Content Officer, Entertainment Programming, Angus Ross, said: “The Voice has been our #1 entertainment program since 2021, reaching and engaging millions of people. We’re beyond thrilled to have four of the world’s greatest vocalists discovering and coaching a new wave of Australian artists this year. With LeAnn, Adam, Kate and Guy in the spinning red chairs, it’s going to be the best season yet!”

ITV Studios Australia CEO & Managing Director, David Mott, said: “ITV Studios is delighted to welcome Adam, Kate and LeAnn alongside music legend Guy Sebastian for what promises to be an extraordinary 13th season of The Voice. The Voice continues to be not only one of the biggest entertainment shows in Australia but also the biggest and most successful brand in global TV history, with now more than 150 versions produced around the world.”

The new season of The Voice goes into production this month and will premiere later this year on Channel 7 and 7plus.
