It’s weird, they’re singing about dancing but the show is ultimately about singing. Jess sounds different here and I really wish Guy wasn’t back, hopefully he has no other friends or family members auditioning this year.
Well, the promo does have footage of the judges pressing the red button during blind auditions.
I really don’t like that promo. They are singing about dancing on a singing show, and it just has too many elements of other promos (there was an X factor promo where they all walked into a bar, there was an AGT promo where they all went up in a lift) and I would like to see some actual contestant clips as well.
It just seems blah to me
There was a similar plot hole in an AGT promo, the judges went up 200 floors and came out at ground level?? No explanation what they were doing in the middle of the earth.
Someone at 7 should learn how elevators work.
I like that promo, Kyle has a bit of a personality in it
First sneak peek clip from blind auditions aired during Farmer Wants a Wife tonight - Mick Harrington the mower man, who also proposed to his fiancee on the stage after performing and receiving judges feedback.
Oh god so it’s going to be even worse than channel 9 with the back/sob stories.
Meet Mick “The Mower Man”
The first of many unforgettable moments coming to The Voice 2021
It’s the world’s biggest singing competition and now the all-new, all-killer, no-filler revamp of The Voice is ready to reveal a first look at the artists braving the Blind Auditions before it premieres on Channel 7 and 7plus.
Mick “The Mower Man” Harrington is a family man from country Victoria who works hard day in, day out to provide for his children and beautiful partner Bec.
As the owner of a lawn mowing and gardening business, The Voice has the potential to change the rest of Mick’s life.
Inspired to show his girls that there’s no limit to what you can achieve, Mick’s rendition of the classic Somewhere Over The Rainbow brings the stage to a standstill.
A standing ovation from all four superstar coaches – Keith Urban, Rita Ora, Guy Sebastian and Jessica Mauboy – brings Mick’s dream one step closer, but will a fifth yes be the one that he’s been waiting for the longest?
That’s a great promo.
Wasn’t the whole point of this show is we don’t care who they are, it’s just about the voice?
You mean just as bad? Nine definitely wasn’t a pinnacle of high quality The Voice especially in the last few years. We’ll see if Seven continue their downfall or work the show a bit better.
The coaches can’t believe their ears
The world’s biggest singing competition demands world-class talent, and that’s exactly what is coming to The Voice when it premieres on Channel 7 and 7plus]) after the Olympics.
Two new promos for the latest season of the global mega-hit format reveal a closer look at the artists vying for the illustrious title and the attention of four superstar coaches – Keith Urban, Rita Ora, Guy Sebastian and Jessica Mauboy.
Whose “out of this galaxy” voice does Keith crown “the Voice” after just one listen? Who will bring Rita to tears? Who brings Guy to his feet and who leaves Jess begging, “who are you?”
Two new promos
Now this is the angle that Seven needs to promote more. Sob stories can linger in the background if they HAVE to be there.
How are Seven so sure that their ratings will be good enough to renew it. Imagine if it flops…
Then they just don’t go ahead with it next year.
I’m pretty sure it was a multi year deal.
The Voice: Generations
The Voice: Generations is now casting

The Voice: Generations is the latest addition to the global The Voice franchise, also consisting of The Voice , The Voice Kids , The Voice Senior , The Voice Teens , The Voice All Stars and The Voice Rap . It currently has a total of 135 adaptations across the world, making it the biggest and most successful format brand in the non-scripted global market to date.
Seven and 10 really love their spin offs don’t they.
Is this airing in addition to the regular season next year? If it’s just the one season airing next year then it’s not as bad as airing two seasons a year and the spinoff is kind of like The Block with the Fans and Faves twist and Survivor with Brain vs Brawn.
If a regular season airs in addition to this next year then I agree it’s overkill.
