What’s everyone’s opinion on the ratings for The Voice on 7? Better than Nine, or flop?
Rita Ora appeared on Sunrise yesterday to talk about the blind auditions.

I assume you’re just taking the piss? Given this is ‘The Voice’ thread, I imagine that Johnson is referring to the Blind Auditions.

Tickets are now available at That’s the Ticket website for the semi-final tomorrow afternoon (March 30) and the grand final on Sunday, April 11. Both are long sessions which run for more than five hours.
The first knockout was recorded last Sunday (March 21) and Monday (March 22), which meant a very busy week for Sonia Kruger, given she also filmed Dancing with the Stars: All Stars on March 18-19 and March 23-24.
I was pretty shocked when I saw this, must be a lot of money behind this. Wonder if it’ll just be for the one season.

I might just give it a watch. That is a huge get.

I think there’s a fair bit more prestige for these shows in the UK and US compared to Aus. She’ll be great.

With Covid meaning a much more restricted schedule and inability to tour, this probably meant that it’s a good opportunity to do it this year. I think she will definitely be a one time judge.

Eddy just said on Sunrise that The Voice was coming to 7 after the Olympics.

Can’t wait to not hear that a million times before it launches.

So that means up to 6 months after filming commenced (which I believe was Feb). I’m doubting that Rita Ora is going to stay here for 6 months to do any live shows or even a finale. So expect the results to be selected by judges and/or studio audience voted with possibly multiple endings recorded.

Unless she’s via satellite for any live stuff
Sonia Kruger has confirmed Rita Ora took NZ actor and director Taika Waititi to the taping of the grand final earlier this month. The report says the rumoured romance means Rita will stay in Australia a bit longer.
