That’s actually quite a good panel of judges in my opinion. Good, contemporary mix of artists who have success currently and dominant Aussie flavour. I’m impressed.

I don’t think they are terrible coaches either. A bit boring though. I don’t know if it will do any better on 7 than 9 with those coaches.
Why Guy? I just hope he has no more family relatives/friends he will fast track through.

That’s an impressive line-up. All four have enjoyed chart success in the past decade and all but Jess have experience as a coach on The Voice.
The next question is whether there will be a studio audience for the show. If COVID-19 is still under control in Australia by mid 2021 (and more than one vaccine should be available by then), a small crowd should be allowed in to watch the blind auditions.

It’s the world’s biggest singing competition and now the new-look series of The Voice is set to premiere on its new home on the Seven Network in 2021 with four superstar coaches.
Taking their places on the spinning red chairs will be multiple ARIA and GRAMMY© Award winner Keith Urban, UK hit machine Rita Ora, mega selling singer-songwriter Guy Sebastian, and making her coaching debut on The Voice , singing and acting sensation Jessica Mauboy.
One of the most successful formats in the world, the 10th season of The Voice will be hosted by Sonia Kruger and features surprising new elements, plus the strongest ever line-up of artists competing to be crowned the winner.
Keith Urban said: "The stars have finally aligned again! Ten years after spinning in the first season, and just before getting back on stage around the world, I’ve been invited back alongside a very cool and musically diverse panel.”
Rita Ora said: “I love The Voice and I absolutely adore Australia so this is a match made in heaven. Having been a coach on the UK series, I know just how powerful it can be in making dreams come true. I can’t wait to find Australia’s next superstar.”
Guy Sebastian said: “The evolution of The Voice in 2021 is genuinely exciting. I am so happy to be working alongside these amazing coaches. I have known Jess for a long time, I am a huge admirer of Keith and Rita is a great talent. I really feel like this panel will genuinely nurture a new generation of artists.”
Jessica Mauboy said: “I’m so proud of the talent that exists in this country. I know firsthand exactly how life-changing a show like this can be, so I’m honoured to be part of such an experienced team of coaches and I’m looking forward to some amazing chair-turning moments.”
A decade after it first debuted in The Netherlands, The Voice remains a global phenomenon, airing in 180 countries.

Keith, Rita, Guy and Jess are the best of the best and we are thrilled they have chosen to mentor a such a talented group of singers.

The Voice is an ITV Studios Australia production for the Seven Network. It will premiere across the screens of Seven in 2021.

Rita Ora is pretty boring on screen talent - if you look at her time on The Voice UK and more generally in interviews etc.
Jess is fine and a great Aussie talent but hardly brings the star power.
Guy has done a decade of The Voice and X Factor so isn’t exactly fresh.
Keith Urban is a good get but surely will only stick around for one season, depending on how quickly he can tour again.

I think the panel is pretty meh to be honest.
No big names that we thought would feature like Mariah or Tones and I.

Not a bad panel overall. No worse than Nine’s panel.
They probably kept Guy as a familiar face of the current iteration. Rita Ora is an interesting addition but I suppose she is the big star of this panel. Keith and Jessica are fantastic additons.
TV Blackbox’s exclusive was way off though with no Ricki-Lee or Tones and I.

a decent lineup, but i doubt they are the ones to bring any new viewers in. no big exciting name. I’ll predict similar ratings to 2020 with normal yearly rating deflation.

Maybe because he is one of the most successful Australian male artists.
But typical channel 7, not much diversity. They are all Urban artists.

Well for starters, Keith Urban is a country singer. The others have a pretty diverse back catalogue of pop, RnB and dance.
Add to that, Keith is the only white person. Very unlike 7.
Actually Rita Ora is white.
