Music superstar or referee?
Teen’s performance heats up Aussie vs American rivalry
Meet Beau, the 16-year-old surfer set to leave the coaches in a spin when The Voice returns this month to Channel 7 and 7plus.
Beau finds daily inspiration in his surfing routine, sharing: “It gave me a lot of confidence. I thought if I can do this, I can do anything.”
This confidence will shine through in his Blind Audition, as he takes to the stage with a voice beyond his years.
“You sound older and like you have been singing for years and years. I love everything about you,” Guy marvels.
As the coaches pitch to have Beau on their team, Kate Miller-Heidke highlights the uniquely Australian quality in Beau’s performance, cautioning that opting for an American coach “would be a mistake”.
Adam Lambert puts the decision in Beau’s hands, asking: “You have to referee this.”
Don’t miss Beau’s remarkable Blind Audition and see how this young talent’s journey unfolds on the new season of The Voice.
