The Traitors

Oh that makes sense. Also being a traitor means you never have that chance of being murdered. But did they explain this in the start and I just missed it?

I assume there is also a rule that says the traitors can’t dob each other in once exposed or even give clues when they make their final statement.

Well they interview them “live” on Studio 10 and I worry they will slip up. I reckon most are actors anyway. The less people there are the more theatrical they are getting

The show isn’t live you know. This was recorded a while ago.

Not according to the current schedule. I think it will be on the following Sunday with The Challenge to start on Monday.

Bad idea to show the finale against the ICC T20 World Cup decider (even if Australia don’t make it).

The Faithful Are Falling.

Murdered: Mark (Faithful)

Banished: Matt (Faithful)

At the halfway mark, the remaining Traitors and Faithful players were feeling the pressure.

With two empty seats at breakfast, it was clear that either Kate or Mark were murdered overnight. Everyone wanted Mark to walk through the door, after earning a reputation as a Traitor Hunter. Instead, Kate entered the room, meaning Mark was the unlucky target.

Uncertainty overwhelmed the group, especially on the way to the first challenge. Host Rodger Corser took the players to an abandoned rail track, where they had to work together to catapult a ball to hit targets above them. The team nailed the challenge, and secured an impressive ten out of ten silver bars.

After some time back at the hotel, where many theories were discussed, the players had to fight for their safety in the Shield Challenge. They were to nominate another player and attempt to shoot their name tile with a crossbow, resulting in their elimination from the challenge. While Dirk was making the others suspicious of him, Kate was not missing a beat and was the last player standing. She won the shield which sent waves through the group who were going to vote for her banishment. The next popular target was Dirk.

At the Banishment Ceremony, Dirk felt hopeless while asking the others to save him. Matt continued his aggressive targeting of Teresa, which put the others offside. Many changed their votes to Matt, where he was banished in an overwhelming majority vote.

At Traitors Tower, Marielle and Nigel were surprised to find a note from Rodger. There was to be no murder tonight, instead, they were to ask a Faithful to turn into a Traitor. They land on Alex as the best candidate for their strategy.

Will Alex accept their secret offer? Find out when The Traitors continues tomorrow night at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play.

Looks like him. This probably won’t help the negative comments on social media if people start to think the contestants are all paid actors.

Midy Tiaga. Openly listed as model and actor; though of course he probably has a day job too :slightly_smiling_face:

The editing gives it away what’s going to happen. Like all of a sudden they had a feature on Alex and then she gets chosen to be the traitor. Same thing happened with Mark the ep he was murdered.

I was literally about to say the same thing. He’s said maybe 2 words all season. He’s either terrible casting or they’ve edited him this way for a reason?

The flaw in this show is that people like him (and the other old guy, is it Craig?) will probably just float to the end because nobody will ever suspect them and the Traitors won’t murder them.

Surely the Faithful need to switch up their strategy and vote for under the radar people now though. The choices that seem obvious aren’t paying off.

Welcome To The Dark Side, Alex.

Banished: Dirk (Faithful)

Team Traitor scored themselves a new recruit tonight after Alex decided she could totally rock a red cape and mask. Sadly, what she doesn’t realise is that her smiling co-Traitors, Marielle and Nigel, are more like smiling assassins, ready to throw her under the bus in order to take the heat off them being banished. Ouch.

At breakfast, Rodger revealed nobody had been murdered but someone had been recruited as a Traitor. Cue the panic of darting eyes over bacon and eggs. The Faithful had no idea how many Traitors there were, and this made them even more paranoid and suspicious of each other.

At the challenge, the group had to navigate an old prison, using keys to open cells and retrieve silver bars. With $20,000 up for grabs, the would-be robbers walked away with $12,000 for their prize kitty.

Come Banishment time, it was Kate vs Theresa, Fi vs Dirk and Craig vs Dirk. Dirk copped the most votes with the group shocked to discover he was indeed a Faithful.

Back in Traitors Towers, Nigel kicks off a cute pinky promise with Marielle and Alex; they must stick together to make it to the final three. But are pinky promises made to be broken? Find out when The Traitors continues tomorrow night at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play.

How could the Faithfuls get it so wrong? They managed to correctly tip Angus and Claire as Traitors, but never expected Marielle and Nigel as Traitors, and kept voting one of them out at banishment room.

OMG The OG Traitor Has Fallen.

Murdered: Fi

Banished: Marielle (Traitor)

The studious student has become the murderous master, after new Traitor recruit Alex helped to take out the Queen bee, Marielle. Here is how the epic banishment blindside unfolded…

With another Faithful murdered in Fi, Marielle decided to dial up the tension between Kate and Teresa by lying to Kate’s face. Thinking it would strengthen Kate’s case against Teresa, she told Kate that the last thing Fi had said to her before she was killed was that she suspected Teresa!

Not believing Fi would turn on Teresa, Kate questioned Marielle’s motives. This massive revelation fuelled Kate and made her realise that she needed to get her once sworn enemy, Teresa, on board to take down Marielle.

As Teresa and Kate did the rounds to turn everyone on Marielle, Alex and Nigel started to panic and wonder whether to go with the majority and cut Marielle loose or try putting everyone’s attention onto Lewis instead.

If you thought that Melbourne Cup finish was an exciting one, this Banishment was next level bonkers. As accusations flew, nobody mentioned Marielle’s name until it was time to vote. Totally unaware of the scheme, a confident Marielle was shocked when vote after vote was directed at her, including Alex’s vote, the very person she invited into Traitors Tower. And so it was done, the OG Traitor left the Banishment room with Alex’s knife firmly in her back.

Meanwhile, the dashing, skivvy wearing postman had visited Traitors Towers and given the remaining two Traitors, Nigel and Alex, the power to put three players on death row…Find out who is on the chopping block when The Traitors continues Sunday night at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play.

The Traitors. Sunday, Monday And Tuesday at 7.30pm On 10 And 10 Play.

While I am happy to see another traitor banished, I don’t like the latest twist which would have three contestants on death row.

He was always in contention of going though. They have given plenty of features to contestants without them being eliminated. They did one to Kate the other night, so it’s not always the case.

It’s obviously just to stretch it out a bit further, to have some episodes where nobody is murdered. I’m sort of glad as otherwise the likes of Kate or Teresa would have been murdered last night.

It was a good move to get rid of Marielle last night. Teresa and Kate finally figured out exactly why they had been kept around (to keep going for each other). If a Faithful wins then I would really like to see one of them win at this point, although sadly feel like a couple of these very under the radar contestants will float to the end.

The Last OG Traitor Has Fallen.

Banished: Nigel (Traitor)

Recruited: Kate (Faithful Turned Traitor)

Kate, will you accept this rose? Wait, wrong show. Kate, will you accept this robe? Spoiler alert…she does! Kate is the newest recruit after the last original Traitor, Nigel, was banished on tonight’s killer episode of The Traitors! Here’s how it went down…

With the third original Traitor, Marielle, banished in an epic blindside, Nigel and Alex were the last ones standing. The skivvy wearing postman drops them a note telling them they must pick three players to be on Death Row. At breakfast, Craig, Paul and Kate discovered they were on the chopping block tonight.

The players arrived at an Art Gallery to find they must pull off a heist, dodging lasers and nabbing art from plinths. Nigel proves to be the challenge beast once again, the only one to successfully steal $16,000 worth of art, building the prize pool to $200,000.

Prime target Lewis wins the Shield Challenge, just as suspicions were growing around Nigel. New recruit Alex uses this to her advantage, subtly planting seeds and setting Kate on the warpath for Nigel.

With Lewis safe, accusations went flying everywhere with a lot of heat finally landing on Nigel. And so it was done, the last original Traitor was banished with new recruit Alex’s knife firmly in his back.

As the last Traitor standing, Alex recruits Kate to join her on the dark side.

With Kate now on team Traitor, find out who on Death Row, Paul or Craig, will meet their maker when The Traitors continues tomorrow night at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play.

The Traitors. Continues Monday At 7.30pm On 10 And 10 Play.

The ending of tonight’s ep seems like another major format flaw. The traitor needs to recruit if there is only one left, even in top 5??

So it’s a mission impossible to actually banish all the traitors for the bulk of the season, the producers will step in? Next season, if the faithful are very confident someone is a traitor, they should just keep them around and play the game like survivor.
