I liked it but I’m not confident in tomorrows ratings. They need to be airing the Sunday episodes of the entertainment shows at 7pm up against Nine and Seven.
People aren’t going to start a show at 7pm and then leave it when it’s not finished to flick to another show at 7:30pm.
Agree 100%. Liked it more than I thought I would.
It was a promising first episode. I enjoyed the strategy especially how bad it was on the part of one group. It didn’t seem too long; it was the same length ad tonight’s AGT (without ads) and only 5 minutes longer than The Block’s reveal episode. Seemed fairly standard for an series opener in that regard, when there is a an entirely new game to explain.

I wonder how did the contestants spent their spare time, in between the banishment vote, silver earning challenges and interviews with the producers.
Really enjoyed it. I am hooked.
What is treacherous about the traitors? Aren’t they just 2 teams trying to eliminate each other, competing for a cash prize? You could swap the names of the traitors and the faithful, it sill makes sense.
In The Mole, the format is setup so there is a motive for sabotage and undermining of challenges.
I don’t think the timeslot is the issue. Many new shows have launched and performed well with 7.30pm starts (like Hunted). I think it might struggle though just because a lot of eyeballs have switched off Ten in recent weeks and it’s harder to launch shows at this time of year, especially new stuff. Plus it took a bit to really get into the concept of the show. Hopefully it at least does ok and can gain momentum because after the first episode I think this show has heaps of potential.
With double eliminations each episode and three episodes broadcast per week, I think the first season will last for four weeks, finishing in the same week as The Block auction finale (week beginning November 7).
Rodger just said on Kyle and Jackie O that it’s 12 episodes.
I like it, its a shame its up against bigger established shows. Is it filmed here? I thought I read something about it being filmed overseas to use same location as the American version.

That was a great episode!! I am absolutely loving this and feel completely invested in it already. It feels like a freah angle on the strategic/gameplay type reality shows.
That Chloe is a strange unit… but getting 2 Traitors correct out of 20 contestants (and also getting it right that there are 4 Traitors) is pretty good hit rate. Plus the ones she got right were names that hadn’t really come up.
Someone called me just before she named who she thought were the Traitors so I missed it. Who did she name?
She correctly guessed Angus and Marielle but said two others (can’t remember who, still learning the names).
I love it too. I just wish I didn’t know who The Traitors were. It would be perfect TV then.
That’s what I thought about the concept when it was announced.
I’m just not sure why we need to know. They aren’t doing anything to intentionally interfere with the game like The Mole so it’s weird.
The whole point is to see both sides strategising and the Traitors trying to deflect it off themselves. It would be pretty confusing to have people voted out by the Traitors with no explanation. The whole concept of seeing the Traitors meet at night is one of the best elements of the show IMO and makes it different from anything else.
