For that reason Sam deserves every piece of that prizemoney. He’s been called out almost every vote but somehow manages to have it deflect off him.
Liam has just been clueless this whole time and Sarah has been swayed right before the vote multiple times. I guess it now will come down to how many Traitors will still be standing at the very end.
I guess that’s part of the reason the current season has been rating so low. Viewers don’t like the Faithfuls making silly decisions and keep voting out each other.
It will be a miracle if Liam and/or Sarah outwit the three Traitors to win the silver.
While baffling, stupid decisions are part of the attraction of the format. Viewers wouldn’t know ahead of the episodes that this was going to happen and viewing numbers have been low from the start.
I’ve found the editing a bit frustrating because you see the Faithfuls all talking about voting for Sam, yet when it comes time to vote they write down another name.
Is it the final three or final two that will see a Traitor win? Curious whether the Traitors will vote out another Traitor or if the three of them split the prize three ways. Alternatively, if it came down to all Traitors in the final three, would they vote out Sam or respect him for how well he’s played the game?
I think at this point, the most satisfying ending would be this: If Camille and Liam divulge to the two remaining faithfuls that they are indeed Traitors (and of course, tell them that Sam is too), then they all vote Sam - and sweeten the deal by offering the faithful a small share of their eventual prize winning amount.
That’s not the reason. It’s not like the show has dropped in viewers, it just never launched to big numbers. It’s basically sustaining it’s audience that watched it from the get go.
Exactly. If anything I’ve enjoyed this season more than the last as the game has played out very differently. Sam’s game in my view has been impressive and if he makes it to the end it will be a very deserving winner. It will also be an interesting outcome if another Traitor can take him down.
I also prefer that there’s been no forced recruitments. That is what ruined last season. At least this time it was only ever an option for the Traitors to use strategically (as they chose too).
I believe there will be another forced banishment but then beyond that it’s how far the contestants take it. If they adopt the US/UK ending (which from the promo it looks like they might) - the F4 basically stand around a campfire and each person decides if they want to vote again or stick with who’s left. If just one person chooses to vote, then they have to vote someone else out. That keeps going. So likely it will get down to 2 or 3 in the end and based on who is left that’s who gets the money.
So in theory, and based on one Faithful and two Traitors making the final three, the Traitors could work together and vote out the Faithful and then split the money equally. Alternatively, they could do what they did last season and vote for each other, leaving the Faithful’s vote to decide which Traitor would win all the silver?
There are multiple scenarios that could play out. Essentially a Faithful would want the game to end when they think they have removed all of the Traitors. For the Traitors (given there are 3 left) we could end up with 2 or 3 Traitors at the very end (so they would then have to split the money). Alternatively, they could start turning on each other before removing all of the Faithfuls to get more money for themselves.
I think the most likely outcome this season is that one Traitor will be turned on either at 5 or 4 and then 2 of the Traitors will end up with the money. Unless one Traitor can convince the other Faithfuls to remove the other 2 Traitors.
More like the poor taste of many tv viewers. This show has quickly become my favourite reality show. Seems viewers prefer crap like The Block and The Voice and are not prepared to try something fresh and new.
I couldn’t care less about the faithfuls voting each other off, IMO it’s good seeing the traitors outwit them. I too would like to see Sam win but I don’t think he will. I don’t exactly know how it will happen but I have a feeling Camille will somehow outwit the other two traitors and win.
Last year’s winner (I forget her name) quickly got rid of the other Traitors. Camille has sat back quietly and very much under the radar.
A question…have they ever said how they actually ‘murder’ the faithfuls? Seeing as I assume all the contestants are in one big building whatever they do would have to be quiet. Do they perhaps put a letter under the door, similar to the letter Camille received, telling them to pack and leave? Or perhaps they’re told to pack in readyness to depart while the others are at breakfast?
I guess they would just leave the next morning? They probably have to film confessionals etc the following day.
If they do go during the night… There are 40 rooms at the hotel, so only 1/2 are used for contestants, every 2nd one could be used so it wouldn’t be too obvious who is leaving.
They could pipe music into the rooms or hallways to disguise any noises is absolutely necessary. There wouldn’t be any real harm done if someone did think they heard someone leaving.
I’m pretty sure we saw clips in the first season of some of the murdered contestants being driven off and it was daylight. So I would guess that it’s all done in the morning before breakfast. They are likely just the first one up and out.
In the US version it actually shows them in the confessional room where they are handed a letter that says they are murdered. I prefer that as we get some final words from them and a bit of closure, rather than they just disappear.
I’d like it if they did a similar thing to The Circle. It would be interesting to see the reaction of a Faithful when a Traitor turns up to their door to “murder” them. The disappointment, but also the shock of who it is would be fun to watch I think.
Can’t believe how dumb this lot are - Sam could go in wearing an “I’m a Traitor” T-shirt and have “Traitor” tattooed across his forehead and they’d still vote out the person who first mentions that might be suspicious. How could they not see everytime he got accused he managed to deflect things so that person got banished - and if they weren’t banished they were murdered.
Love an underdog story so if by some miracle Liam and Sarah work it all out that would be hilarious, though chances are they’ll vote out Blake and Camille (?) and kept Sam anyway.
I’d rather Sam not win personally - think he’s been far too arrogant and it’s hard to credit his game when his opponents have been so dumb. Blake coming out on top would be my preferred outcome.
I do wish there was a mechanism for a Faithful to outsmart a Traitor at the end - not usually a fan of Prisoners Dilemmas in gameshows but it would work here, both in the case of two Traitors remaining (Split or Share) and a variation of it in any other final two combination - stop the game and split the money (assuming you’re both faithful) or call out your opponent as a Traitor - if you’re right you get the money but if you’re wrong you get nothing, although that would leave them with the risk of nobody winning anything if two faithfuls got to the end and falsely accused each other.
