They should have left it as per original 4:3 or do a proper remaster. Disney know how to do remasters. Even re-animate the whole 4:3 era again would be worth it IMO

The network has a new broadcast team (or as we’re presuming), as being covered in some other threads.

Is the Disney Plus Simpsons deal global or just the US?
Pretty sure it’s global.
I believe Disney+ is a global platform with the same content everywhere… but we’ll see when its launched.
Simpsons isn’t tied to any streaming agreements in AU though and given Disney own it I don’t see why they wouldn’t launch with it.
It didn’t appear on the Netherlands trial though?

Maybe now with Warburton in control, The Simpsons might get some decent airtime.
Unless they can put seasons 1-10 on air there’s no point.
