The Real Housewives of Melbourne/Sydney

Kate would have to be the most awful person on any of the Housewife franchises I’ve watched. She is probably a great vet but I wouldn’t trust her with my cats. It’s wonderful how she feels about animals but maybe she needs some education on how to interact with humans.

Kate is definitely pushing her view too hard now but at the same time Victoria’s response does not seem genuine. Victoria comes across as so over the top and fake with everything that happened last night. She clearly thinks the whole fur scenario wasn’t going to be a good look on TV so has completely tried to do a 360 on it for the cameras. It also means that she can play the victim if Kate doesn’t want to accept having clothing named after her. I can understand Kate not buying into it all but at the same time she also just needs to let it go.

This season of Sydney is the best produced housewives season we have had in Australia. Yes I know its a docusoap and heavily staged.

Not for me, the Melbourne seasons were far superior with better casts.

To me Victoria’s wealth and way of life keep her apart from the “real” world. I agree that Kate had a very valid point but really spoiled it by her OTT tactics. Surely this can’t be good for her business. Unfortunately the “fur” message probably won’t get across to those who need to see it as they probably don’t watch the show.

I can’t believe they cast 2 housewives that had European holidays planned during filming. Terry then Victoria. Last night we were then also down to 4 housewives for Krissy’s event after Caroline went to visit her sick mum.

Looks like some drama between Krissy and Terry on the Japan trip.

Seems everyone in Australia is in Europe lol.

But having lived in Japan myself, I’m looking forward to seeing what mayhem they cause in Tokyo next week.

Reunion episode has been confirmed for Tues 19th December, hosted by Joel Creasy.

Thank goodness common sense has prevailed here.

That’s made my day that they are doing a reunion! It’s usually one of the best episodes of the season and there’s been enough drama this season (with more to come?) to make this a very much needed one.

Glad they are doing a reunion!

RHOM really felt like it fell short last season without it. It was a terrible season anyway, but maybe a reunion would have been entertaining. :man_shrugging:

When they announced Sydney was coming back with only 2 of the original cast, I was a little bummed, expecting a similar season to the last RHOM. I have been proven wrong though, this season has been great.

It did take a few episodes to find it’s feet. Early on it did feel a bit forced but it’s gotten a lot better and I’m really getting into it now. It’s a shame there are only 3 more normal episodes.

Good there’s a reunion but not a big Joel Creasey fan. Always makes everything all about himself.

It doesn’t take much to improve on Alex Perry.

Listening to the NOVA Podcast, you can tell Joel understands Housewives, and doesn’t take it seriously. Will be interesting to see how the reunion goes, I don’t believe it has been filmed yet.

The original plan was no reunion so it’s a good sign and hopefully we get a second season commissioned in early 2024.

Tonight’s was so good. I’m all about Terry now this season!! Nicole is such a drainer. Terry is there standing up for herself whilst Nicole is off hiding and having a sook. I guess it’s going to be a fiery reunion.

My fave moment of the episode was when Krissy blurted out the “20 year friendship” line again to Terry who came back with something along the lines of “I’ve only known you for 5 years and we are only acquaintances”. :joy:

Still no Victoria which is a shame as she was bringing the drama early on. Still you wonder why they cast someone who has been absent for a good 3/10 episodes and couldn’t even come on the overseas trip.

We aren’t going to have the same opinions on this show are we? lol

I think Terry is gross. Her behaviour was disgusting and the way she spoke to Nicole and Krissy was vile.

If she agreed to meet at 9:30am downstairs and didn’t turn up without contact etc it’s very simple, it’s her fault. Rude and arrogant.

At least Terry is being consistent with the alleged behaviour she had when her husband was playing in the NRL. She and the other wife’s didn’t get along if my memory serves me right.

Are we watching the same thing? They made it pretty clear that Caroline was the reason they were late and clearly Terry waited with her because the pair’s were leaving in 2 seperate cars anyway. Obviously each pair had their own camera crew to follow them too so they were always going to do seperate things. But hey Krissy/Nicole, let’s make an issue out of it so you can pile on Terry just because you had a minor disagreement the day prior.

There’s no excuse. Who cares if Caroline was running late. They could have told Nicole and Chrissy and let them know to go on without them.

It is an issue. They made plans and were asked to be at a specified place at a specified time. They were late and didn’t contact them. Rude and disrespectful.

@Chris How would you like it if you made plans with people and they just didn’t turn up?

Terry seems to have a personal problem with Nicole and stooped to quite belittling language and behaviour. Accusing Nicole of bad manners and using the term ‘the height of rudeness’ was classless and tacky, when in fact it was Terry who was discourteous and ungracious.

Absolutely. The pile on was definitely on Nicole and not Terry. Terry just went off and really below the belt.
