The Project

He isn’t a medical doctor and he’s been running with this counter view for a while and it’s getting annoying for an allegedly intelligent person trying to hijack the agenda with his silly anti vax views.

I didn’t even notice it being that “heated”, to be honest. It looked like a regular debate on The Project to me.

I think he often plays devil advocate in these discussions and he is not necessarily pushing his own views. He may just be giving the counterview for the benefit of a discussion on the show. He often will say that’s not my personal view but what about people who believe that. Also, as a lawyer he could be looking at this from a legal point of view and questioning how this could set a precedent for other reasonable requests by employers.

Waleed was consistently wrong and misinformed on this topic last night. He shows his arrogance. Completely unwatchable.

Waleed is not a Doctor lol.

Exactly. He gets a free ride for reasons unknown. Compare the treatment of fellow anti vax nutter Pete Evans.

There’s a difference between asking questions of employment law around vaccinations and what Pete Evans does.
If you can’t see that, you’re off your head.

Aww that’s cute. Waleed is ‘off his head’ it would seem and has become an arrogant joke.

Is his Wikipedia supposed to be impressive lol Any average student can study law and sociology.

He’s not a medical doctor. He has no medical expertise. He’s an uninformed anti vax nut job and failed to do any research on the matter, he was oblivious last night that Fair Work has already clarified the matter. Do your homework Wally.

Perhaps it was another stunt from the unwatchable low rating project.

The whole show is quite unwatchable right now. Waleed is one aspect. Tommy keeps trying to make the same joke which doesn’t land, and I can’t put my finger on what it is about Carrie.

Every time I think, I’ll switch on The Project, I can’t bare more than 10 mins.

I very rarely watch it these days, and I used to watch it most nights

Probably the fact that she’s won a Gold Logie for doing nothing but read scripts and cry on air?

I don’t think Waleed was was being anti vax at all, rather, he was just arguing that he didn’t think vaccines should be mandated and it was a slippery slope to go down. That isn’t inconsistent to the position of the majority of the medical profession who prefer an educative approach over coercion.

Anyway, really been enjoying the show the last little bit. The off script banter and chemistry between the hosts has made it very watchable.

I think people should note that there is a similar type of story on Waleed or The Project almost every second day on news.com.au. It’s their modus operandi for clicks. They do the same to Meghan Markle. They know that style of story stirs up outrage in the sheeple that read it.

Yeah I don’t find her very personable at all. Gorgi Coghlan I do.

So on Today show Sylvia Jeffrey’s said she would refuse a vaccination while pregnant and I say good on her. She doesn’t know what it might do to her unborn child.

It’s her up and down newsreader voice I can’t stand. Her normal talking voice is fine but every story she voiceovers is unbearable.

I know what you mean about devils advocate, but this isnt that. Waleed has been consistently pushing his borderline anti-vax positions for months, i commented about it here. He pretty much sided with Craig Kelly over Tanya Plibersek, I’m glad some mainstream media are catching on.

No one has suggested vaccines should be mandatory, but there are less people currently willing to get the vaccine than are needed to achieve heard immunity. At some point there is going to need to be incentives, coercion or restrictions that result in getting unconvinced people over the line to get the jab.

But it isn’t mandated. It is optional. If it is conditional for work and travel then you can choose not to travel or work for that organisation. Find a new job. There is choice available and sometimes choices prevent you from doing things. So be it.
