Pure speculation based on the fact that The Living Room is over and Dr Chris has been back on the show recently. Sarah can’t really burn the candle at both ends if she remains on Studio 10.

They would have to do more shows in Sydney for it to work. It would also benefit Lisa and perhaps finally make Walleed leave cause I cant see him flying back and forth to Sydney. Everyone else does it for the show.
I can’t see them moving the whole production to Sydney. It works fine having it in Melbourne for four days and in Sydney for two. It lets them have a few different panellists this way.

I believe its now back to five days (Melbourne) and one day (Sydney). Friday has been coming from Melbourne for awhile now. Plus most of the production staff and crew are based in Melbourne.
From that report above, I just don’t think Chris and Sarah have the pulling power for the Project. They’re a little vanilla.

Maybe a new breakfast show?
For the 50 people who want to watch a breakfast show on 10? 
They could do worse than to just have them host something newsier at the desk from 8am - 10am with Lachlan/Tash on news and then flick to the fluff at 10am with Tristan and his wife, and Ange on entertainment.
Could all still be under the Studio 10 banner but just breaks the show up a bit.
Trust me Today and Sunrise are stale. They get the right team and content they could be a contender
Trust me. Nobody wants to watch another one. Ten have tried to launch a new show twice and failed and the news ratings are woeful. Also, viewers on free to air are dwindling so there’s just not enough viewers for a fourth breakfast show to be profitable .

And if talent want more screen time it won’t be in the morning where they can barely crack 25k
Brother no disrespect but you are not an expert in Breakfast TV, it’s been proven time and time again that Breakfast audiences aren’t going to 10, Sunrise and your beloved Today are in decline and are losing audiences like all shows are, but they’re not stale.

A name that hasn’t been mentioned yet to replace Carrie is Leigh Sales. I know it’s been mentioned she intends to stay with the ABC, but you never know, could she leave to join 10?
