Is she really short listed? She’d be a rank outsider at best.
Just saw a paywall article saying Carrie is headed to Tasmania. Could that mean she’s taking Jimmy and Nate’s old breakfast spot with Tommy?
She’s doing a half marathon.
These bloody click bait headlines!
Carrie to leave Channel 10.
I kinda thought that was known already. She gave no indication last week that she would be staying at Ten in any capacity.
I was under that impression last week too.
Is there a chance Carrie could be going to 7? With ACA having changes, could be their opportunity to improve the 7pm slot…
I would put money on her going to radio. Notice how Tommy has barely been on the show either.
There would be a bidding war going on with the network they are on now and 2day FM
2Day and The Fox are both owned by SCA. Also Erin Molan just signed a new contract with the former:
The article also says this:
SCA confirmed to Mumbrella that the trio of Erin, Ed, and Hughesy are locked in for breakfast on 2Day in 2023.
If Carrie was to move to 2Day with Tom, both would have to leave there lives in Melbourne and move to Sydney. I could see her stay on her afternoon show on The Fox and host ACA from Melbourne.
Succession planning for Fox Breakfast
No they wouldn’t. They could do the show from Melbourne if they wanted. Not ideal but it’s been done before.
Oh that’s interesting they made sure to lock that in. That would have been the talent/agents scared for their/clients jobs
Who listens to actual radio, why would that be more lucrative than commercial tv?
Ask Alan Jones and Kyle Sandilands.
A lot of radio talent now come from varies cities. You no longer need to be in one city with the same talent.
Georgie Tunny has been reporting on the ground from the Victorian floods. We haven’t seen much of those other contenders on air recently.
Jessie stephens is becoming more confident and comfortable on the panel. I’m liking her a lot.
Chrissie Swans Nova Brekkie Show won’t be returning to Melbourne next year. So could that mean… She’s up in the running sitting next to Waleed.
