The Project

Sarah’s overrated IMO. There are many people in the media who are at the same level as her, if not better. She’s made her bed staying on Studio 10 for so long and will have to lie in it.

As for replacing Carrie, problem is there’s a lack of female talent in Melbourne. Putting the location barrier to one side, I’d be looking at poaching someone like Kylie Gillies or Sonia Kruger (though very unlikely).

Not on Fox, unless Fifi/Fev/Nick are looking for a change. Would 2Day go for another Melbourne duo who won’t move up to Sydney? Doubt it.

Surely Lisa would talk her our of going to Today?

Wonder if 10 will splash some big cash and get Gorgi Coghlan back to the show. She was the natural successor to Carrie until Lisa came about.

Wants to spend more time with the family. I guess that rules out Good Morning Australia and The Project Late Edition

Sonia Kruger is on a lucrative network contract at Seven and hosts The Voice, Big Brother and Dancing with the Stars.

Do you really think Sonia would leave that for the basket case channel 10 and it’s micro rating Project? lol

Oh no way she’d leave Seven, but she’d fit in on a show like The Project as we know she doesn’t shy away from giving an opinion. Sonia’s a great all round media performer.

@tvblackbox tipped during his podcast today that Carrie will move to 2Day breakfast radio on a $2m per year contract. Seems the most likely outcome.

One crap rating show to another?

Correct. $$

It’s a shame. She’s the one person on The Project who deserves more viewership.

From Nine’s Director of Morning TV. Guess we can rule out Carrie joining Today then.

The Daily Fail has been pumping out all manner of shit today about Carrie’s future. One story had her hosting ACA and another had her joining Karl on Today with Ally moving to ACA because she’s feuding with Karl.

Another Melbourne based personality for 2DayFM breakfast. SCA never learns. Hope Carrie is prepared for her career to take a hit.

Kylie is another that seems just comfortable doing what she does. We all work with people like that. Those that would be sooo good if they went to bigger roles, but are just happy doing what they do, and do a good job doing what they do. People get in routine and like the hours they do. I would struggle myself changing my work from say mornings to nights. Wouldn’t do it for any extra xxx dollars.

I think many get put off by how some of the big moves turn out. Ie Sam Armytage etc. Scrutiny is certainly increased.

Kylie is one that is actually underrated and would be good to see her back in her old stomping ground…7 Sport

an unlikely thought, but if they wanted to also move Steve Price on at the same time, but still keep a “perceived right wing balance”
how about Erin Molan?

Honestly think it’ll be Georgie Tunny though.

God…how on Earth is she even so famous? She was on The Bachelor, and didn’t even win… and the next thing she’s on every bloody thing imaginable! She’s not even a nice person, and has no redeeming features - just bullies people relentlessly in the name of ‘wokeness’ and ‘progressiveness’.

Anyway rant over - she’s not going to get the Project in a month of Sundays. I’d wager that her name has just been put out there by her agent. No, Carrie’s replacement will almost certainly be someone who is already a regular on there, I’d have thought.

They need to be careful as if they go with those ex reality contestants as above the ratings will head the way of Studio 10.

Chatfield would be a huge turnoff for many, she gets considerable negative comments every time her name appears on socials.

She was able to win I’m A Celeb despite many people disliking her, so clearly on top of having many detractors, she also has a lot of fans.

I’d say her name is included because she is clickbait.

They have to put out as many clickbait stories as they can while she’s still on The Project. I’d say it’s one of their biggest clickbait sources after Harry and Meghan.
