Great cast. Obviously Todd Lasance was picked because he was well known to US audiences through Spartacus: War of the Damned.

Paramount+ getting it first?

Probably means available ad free on Paramount + after broadcast.

I see there’s two Brits in the cast again. Is it going to be just like North Shore? Or will some of the Aussie/British cast be forced to do American accents?

I think the actors playing AFP roles will be able to keep their Aussie accent.

That’s what I was surprised with. The concept is “The brilliant and eclectic team of U.S. NCIS Agents and the Australian Federal Police”, yet the people cast to play American NCIS agents are British.

Cast seems good tho

Be great for Australian Tourism.

Also might good for 10 to have a tent pile program over the summer.

I was hoping for NCIS: Sydney to air on 10 first. The US writers and actors strikes mean 10 will be starved of first run dramas from America in November.

Absolutely no way. Paramount Plus is the way to go. It would premiere to no one on that channel.

People don’t go to FTA for scripted television.

That must be the first Australian series on US network primetime since what - Skippy?

(I think The CW ran ABC’s “Barons” for 2 weeks recently).

The Bump season 2 has been airing on The CW.

As the first international version, I just hope it does the originals justice. Will also be eagerly watching it when it premieres.

I wonder where the interior scenes for NCIS taskforce HQ were filmed. It could be one of the former warehouses at Walsh Bay at the top of Sydney CBD.

Part of me thinks they are a decade too late, but you never know, may just hit something other than dirt.
