Could Alan Jones be Puppet? I feel like there’s a 1964 link there which I’m trying to find. He’s also had absences from Sky over the last couple of weeks, and they are clearly disguising somebody with a bit of girth by making the costume so tall.

I think Goldfish is a former female swimmer who won gold in the Sydney 2000 Olympics.
For each head to head performance, the judges have 50% of votes while the online fans panel has the other 50% of votes. The judges then vote which of the bottom 3 singers has to unmask him/herself.
I’m on a different path, not someone who competed, but who performed. That’s where my Vanessa Amorosi guess came from - thought it was a suited voice, then after the clue turns out she was a performer at 2020 games
I agree. ‘Did something special at Sydney’ - more like a performer and the opening or closing.

Tonight as part of the episode 5 voting panel we were only shown performances from Dragon Fly, Queen, Frill Neck and Puppet. Then we were asked to vote for our favourite performance. All up the entire thing took 10 minutes. We were told that it was going to start at 7:30 pm but it eventually ended up starting after 8. All up there were 66 panelists voting. Whoever Frill Neck was had the best voice by far.

You can see Goldfish’s real hair under the mask as she left the stage this evening during the elimination announcement. Pretty dead giveaway.

The first masker singer was revealed. I didn’t pick that person during the commercials and performance. Remember - not all of the “singers” are actual singers in their profession…

On another note, an awkward guess in John Travolta. His wife passed away a week before this episode was filmed.
Some of Urzila’s guesses were as wacky as Lindsay’s last year. I like how they showed Salmon as her guess when she was mucking around. 
I guessed the unmasked one tonight just before the judge made the correct guess.
