Great idea, so much talk content that could be utilised more in earlier hours
What I want to know is why has it taken Ten 5-10 years to figure this out? (Donāt remember how long ago it was when they got the local rights from ABC)
There has been so much dead time in Tenās schedule they remain in the best position to reliably fast track content.
With Paying Attentionās reasonable numbers, can they make this work? Over the course of a season the target should be 500k with great demos.
The current season returns to 7.30pm Sundays from November 18. This time each episode will be shown 8 days after it airs on BBC1.
EDIT: the current season is on a two-week break in Britain, so when it returns next week, each episode will be shown just hours after the BBC broadcast.
I notice that the show will not be shown next Sunday night (December 23) and repeat movies will take the 7.30pm timeslot. There is a new episode this week featuring the cast of Mary Poppins Returns led by Emily Blunt, and music performance by Boy George and Culture Club. Is that episode being held over till the following week?
Thereās an episode listed in the guide for 9pm Friday 28th which isnāt marked as a repeat, that could be the episode in question if it wonāt be airing on the Sunday night per the last few weeks.
Thatās annoying. Sunday night was more convenient and I actually watched the show.
Due to 10ās live coverage of Perth SuperNight Supercars race next Friday (May 3), the current season of The Graham Norton Show will take a weekās break but will return the following week. A repeat from last season will be shown on main channel in Adelaide and Perth (S24 Ep6, with Kurt Russell and Claire Foy among the guests) on May 3.
Click-bait type headlines āGraham Norton REPLACED as host of chat show in major BBC shake-upā but itās just for one week while he preps for Eurovision.
Donāt understand why they donāt just take a one week break or do a best-of special?
Perhaps trying out a possible replacement when Graham retires.
Taylor Swift is musical guest. Canāt believe it is omitted from Tenās advance schedule.
and its s25 ep08 not 06
Looks like 10 has switched the screening order for this 25th season. Episode 11, featuring special guest Madonna, will be shown this Friday (June 21), with episode 10 bumped to maybe next week.
Other guests on this episode are Sir Ian McKellen, Danny Boyle, Lily James, Himesh Patel and Sheryl Crow.
The new season premieres next Sunday at 8pm on 10.
I canāt see the advanced guide but 8pm seems like a strange time, whatās airing before that? There is no consistency with 10 at all and they mess this show around (among others) to fill holes in their schedule.
Rugby world up from 4:45-8pm
In Adelaide and Perth it will air at 7.30pm, because the rugby will be over by then.
The episode will be shown two days after UK, with guests Dame Helen Mirren, Jack Whitehall, Simon Reeve, RuPaul and music performance by American singer Normani (former member of Fifth Harmony).
Ten have done pretty well actually keeping this on Fridays for most of the time, but they tried to promote it to better timeslots a few times which havenāt lasted. Letās see if they can make it work this time on Sundays?
Why does 10 still edit the end of the show to remove who will be on next weekās show? They are showing the episodes in the correct order so thereās no chance of it being incorrect, so why still do it?
