The show just finished 26 minutes late, feeling sorry for those recording it and didn’t get it all in!
I set the recording for tonight’s show until 11pm knowing it would finish late. Can’t wait to watch it tomorrow afternoon.
Or 56min later than the usual scheduled finish. Long one tonight!
Any regular would know it would finish late, and being a Grand Final Edition, perhaps even later.
They must have come to some kind of settlement with Carlton Draught because of VB’s involvement with the Aussie cricket side.
Even though both Carlton Draught and VB are brewed by the same company?
Doesn’t mean the subsidiaries don’t have their own ideas!
Wow, that is huge coup for Seven
I think the Australian cricket team is currently sponsored by XXXX which is a rival of Carlton Draught.
Great episode last night, so funny!
yes, best one
I LOVED the hotel vibe audice, I wish it was like that every week !
How is it a ‘coup’ when it’s their own show?
Regular listeners of Mick Molloy’s Triple M radio show would be aware he has been trying to convince Seven to commission a cricket version of The Front Bar for a couple of years. Not sure why everyone is congratulating Seven for this great idea when it should’ve been a no brainer to have the show on air when they took over the cricket rights.
I’m guessing Molloy would be looking to get some of the people involved with Triple M’s cricket coverage involved with the television show.
I stand corrected. Thank you.
Im not an afl fan but was still able to watch and enjoy the show
Cricket version confirmed.
Molloy said the two cricket specials would air on Thursday nights, November 21 and 28.
Thursday 21 November

According to a new promo tonight, legendary Australian fast bowler Jeff Thomson will be special guest on next Thursday’s show.
UPDATE 20/11: as will West Indies legend Brian Lara.
There was a question about the cricket special on HYBPA tonight (what special program is Sam appearing on Thursday night?), and Ed Kavalee’s initial answer was “a sh-t cricket show”
