Every time he’s on, nobody’s watching (Origin, Olympics)… Like it’s intentional :joy: Isn’t it rested next week, surprised they’d keep it on-air during this time TBH

Haha, I do feel sorry for him. Appearing on during the Origin and now the Olympics.

The show’s listed as airing for next week. I assume that Talking Footy is off next week.

Presenters probably use these events as an opportunity to take the week off, and since not that many would be watching , it’s easier for Seven to use someone on the payroll than to pay extra for a comedian to come in and do it.

Seven executives must’ve been impressed again

Is that actually confirmed or are you just assuming this?

At the end of tonight’s grand final special but prior to Birds of Tokyo’s performance, Andy thanked the people in front of and behind the camera, but made no mention of special editions later this year. I wonder if there will still be a special cricket edition episode in November, prior to the start of Australia v India test series.

Surely there will be a cricket edition (or two) in November . Not sure why there was no announcement.

The Grand Final show tonight was fun. Lots of highlights from the year. Always a good get with the AFL CEO being there.
