The Front Bar

Rob Elliott, once host of Seven’s Wheel of Fortune, was the show’s first guest. He was inducted into the “Fan’s Hall of Fame”. And talked about his one-time interview with Dipper at the Gabba.

Good to see him again.

Rob hosted the show from 1997 (After ratings crashed with Tony Barber following the sacking of John Burgess and moving production to Adelaide for no reason, along with changes to the format) until 2003.

I really liked Rob Elliott.

The downfall of the show then followed when Steve Oemcke (whom no-one outside of Victoria really knew) replaced him as host; he was then replaced by Larry Emdur for the 2006 season which proved to be the last on Seven.
