New podcast by SBS’s Marc Fennell and Jan Fran - ‘The Few Who Do’ - a fortnightly podcast series digging deep into challenging social issues and interview bold, ambitious people advocating for change.
The Few Who Do will launch on Friday 1 March 2019, with 16 episodes released. Perfect for the daily commute, each episode of The Few Who Do will be 30-40 minutes.
SBS celebrates diversity and encourages thought provoking discussions on the world today. In each episode, Jan and Marc will find out what it takes to be fearless. They’ll speak to everyday Australians, seeking answers to tough questions on a broad range of topics from workplace diversity to dystopian futures, and how to create change in the data and entrepreneur space.
The Feed will air on SBS at 10pm Tuesdays following Insight and Dateline. According to SBS Channel Manager Ben Nguyen:
I was involved when we launched it on SBS2 seven years ago. When things really showcase what SBS can do, it’s great to be able to put them on our biggest platform.
We want to work really hard on pulling audiences through the night, from one to the other, and so introducing audiences that maybe hadn’t thought that The Feed was something for them is something we’re conscious about.
We’ll take a break mid-year for the Tour de France, but otherwise it runs through the year.
In 2020, The Feed will join SBS from SBS VICELAND in a new studio format focused on issues-based reporting and presented by Australia’s most diverse television current affairs team.
Presented by Marc Fennell, Alice Matthews and Alex Lee , the multi Walkley Award-winning program will continue to break new ground with its compelling mix of current affairs and comedy, interviews and investigations.
