Great chat with Antony Green last night.
Funny to hear Melanie saying on air that she originally wanted to present a vase as a gift to Antony (in response to him saying “I don’t have a vase”, after he was presented with flowers by Annabel Crabb near the end of the ABC’s election coverage), but smashed the vase during rehearsals.

Funniest episode of the season this week. I’m a firm believer this is consistently the best show on television week in, week out.
It’s great watching Mel and Tim move from poliahed scripted bits to the improv stuff later in each episode when the guests come on. The unscripted moments, especially with Mel Tracina are brilliant.

Seems to be more than a natural high.
Tonight’s arts and entertainment segment is probably some of the funniest TV there’ll be all year.
It highlighted how well the two Mel’s and Tim gel as a trio.

How could Mel Tracina mix up George Calombaris with George Kapiniaris (Acropolis Now)? 
Then did it again minutes later when she said Jamie Durie danced with the Chippendales rather than Manpower?
