The Cheap Seats

It clearly works for the show. Staged or not. They could have edited it out if they didn’t want it in.

Yep so Ash joins to talk about Eurovision but clearly doesn’t know much about it. She incorrectly stated that Australia made the top 10 this year. We were actually 15th.

which is odd considering she’s been on the jury panel, twice :man_shrugging:

Even Last Week with John Oliver did a much better job in covering Eurovision. Ash seems not to have done much homework. But hey, she’s a "name’.

Did she even watch it? If Tim hadn’t mentioned that Ukraine was the winner …

I doubt it.
And was she the one that then went on a tangent about Madonna? She couldn’t even stick to the topic she was presumably there solely to discuss?

Great summary of election night in the first segment. Seemed to capture the essence of each network’s coverage. Antony Greene a classic as always with his software glitches, 10 with not enough reporters to fill the news graphic and Peter Overton’s biggest contribution to Nine’s night. After the break Seven’s Screen of Dreams was featured.

@SouthCoastTV just had his clip of Nine News finance segment featured :joy:

Lol, I wish you all could have seen my reaction when I saw my channel watermark in the top right-hand corner!

I’m surprised that they used that clip actually, because I uploaded it over a week ago and it isn’t easy to find as I have uploaded several other videos since. Someone at Ten must follow my channel. :stuck_out_tongue: I found it really heartening though that they based that entire “Mel’s Finances” segment on it.
