The Block

I may be wrong but did they also plug the radio station they were listening to when they got into their cars to go shopping?

Last year they had couples from all over Australia and by all accounts with the border closures it was quite hard to manage.

Will it be in the promo tomorrow?

MKR actually headed the way of MAFS I think, to try and create some of that drama. It seems The Block has now also attempted to continue that drama.

No renovating or design whatsoever tonight. Just talk talk talk and fake drama. Bring back House Rules please and thank you.

It’s not “heading”. It’s already there. I’m sure viewers will turn off in the same way.

Precisely. Ronnie and Georgia arguing with the foremen on site and Mitch and Mark babbling on all day long.

Perhaps the Room Reveals might be good but no need to see the rest of the show when there’s like 10% renovation and 90% arguing and gimmicks and plugs for Maccas, Mitre 10 and co.

I enjoyed the lightness of the episode but it would’ve been nice to see some progress made on the guest bedrooms. Ronnie and Georgia starting to get on my nerves. I get the feeling that Georgia, in a particular, is just in it for the fame.

Those two twins are well and truly there for the Instagram. Sort of people would you expect on The Bachelorette, they are craving to be part of that group of alpha males.

This won’t be the last we see them. Will appear on some other show at some point.

Big Brother VIP going by the standards of that shows cast.

Producers love them because they are cheap to pay, and will always say yes. Luke Toki might get 10 grand on that show. Meanwhile Omarosa gets half a million. They are cheap fillers those reality people.

I was only half watching the show on Sunday, but didn’t they say they’ve already been on Love Island? And like Troiboi said earlier, them not having any idea only contestants were allowed to paint suggests they’ve never watched an episode before in their life and are not even close to being “Fans”. Sad the show has stooped that low.

Geez looks like you right. Bit sad.

I think the fans vs faves idea was a good one but clearly viewers aren’t a fan of the ones they brought back. Personally I loved Ronnie and Georgia and I thought they were great in their season (design wise).

I think they can lift again with a move of location to Byron Bay.

Love M&M and R&G

But these fans aren’t growing on me.
Every other year they’d hook me by episode 2.

Just watched the first episode and can I say what a boring one it was. I have absolutely no desire to go back and sit through it again.

I haven’t watched The Block since Glasshouse and yet I don’t feel like I’ve missed too much.

And why is there so much different background music!? There was at least 100 songs in that first episode.

They were. Josh won season 2.

It’s probably nothing new, but tonight they’ve come in from an adbreak with Dan saying something about build a McCafe onsite. Has this been done on the show before in such a blatant manner before?

Yes, there’s been an on-site McCafe (and Suncorp ATM) during a previous season of The Block.
