It has only just started filming… which will take about a month. I really struggle to see how Ten will have it ready to fit it into the year unless they plan to air it multiple nights right on the tail end of the year. I guess if it is like the US the season will only have around 12 episodes so they could close out the year with it in a 4 week stint.

Watermark shown during Australian Survivor tonight, confirming the show will premiere on 10 in October.
Seven still has ownership of the show’s Twitter account, so 10 will have to set up a new one.

It’s Australia. This won’t be 12 episodes. It’ll be aired 2-3 nights a week for 100 mins :crazy_face:

It’d be great for 10 to smash out some promos for TAR, while Survivor is still airing, similar shows/audiences/demographics

Didn’t they just start filming this about 3 weeks ago? Not sure they would have enough footage yet. But hopefully they can get something together soon.

Although the watermark says October, it doesn’t mean the show will premiere on October 1. It could be middle of the month or last week of the month.

I drove past to what appears to be The Amazing Race being filmed in Darwin this morning in the CBD.

Couldn’t get a photo.
