I still don’t see TAR as a “10” show. It feels like it would fit better on 7. But I hope to be wrong!
How is it any different to Survivor switching from 9?

I’m happy with Beau. The show needs a bit of enthusiasm from a host so glad it wasn’t Grant Bowler who was so dull. Besides that, enthusiastic to see what 10’s take of the show looks like after the great job they do with Survivor Australia.
I think (hope) it will work well on 10. Unfortunately the US version has lost a lot of traction over the past few years on Ch7 and the current season is now bumped to a late night spot on 7flix.
Ch10 offers a new audience to an old format, one that could work well with the station’s demographic.
I think TAR suits 10 really well!
Beau Ryan is a very average choice of host though… not really impressed with that selection.
If Network 10 got the rights to the US version as well, would the show air on the main 10 channel or 10 Bold?
While Survivor Australia has been on 10, the US version remains on 9.
Channel 7 might as well give up on the US versions rights if they keep on planning to show it on 7flix at 10.30pm.
The Amazing Race is under a contract with Seven. The network would be MORE than happy if 10 wanted it I can assure you.

I hadn’t thought of him but yes, I think this show would suit James Mathison perfectly.
He was unusually wooden in the first season and really seemed to stick to script. He definitely relaxed into the role in the second and third seasons.
That’s only used for promos though.
