The Amazing Race Australia

Hopefully they will visit SA.

I thought they were visiting every state but Victoria.

See the post about from an interview from media week.

Indeed.

I’m sure they could finish in Victoria if need be from now. But again Victoria is only just reopening.

New promo aired today during 10’s Melbourne Cup coverage.

Not much of a ‘first look’. Pretty average teaser in my opinion. 10 did a lot better last year out of the Melbourne Cup.

The extended first look

These promos look so tacky and do not do the show any justice. A few snapshots of scenery, some close ups of faces and some flashing effects. Come on. Maybe wait till filming is completed to pull something half decent together.

It also looks like they have some Survivor style challenges set up in the middle of nowhere. I really hope the show is not going that direction and is still about showcasing places rather than building things that contestants hang off and climb in the middle of nowhere.

What are you talking about, these promos look Amazing

Wtf was that? It looks more like a promo for Survivor than The Amazing Race…

I think that’s the point. They need to appeal to that audience to boost the numbers.

And alienate their current viewers?

I’m sure fans of TARA would still tune in, even if the promo doesn’t appeal to them. These promos definitely make it feel like more of an event compared to last year.

Beau Ryan has posted on Instagram a photo of himself sleeping on the floor of a domestic airport. Filming this season is an exhausting job for sure.
He also wrote this:

For those who know I’ve been off the grid for two months making a tv show. We’ve given it everything we have. We are nearly there. Sleep is for cowards. Send help
