Not a fan of the constant echoes, but those rotating drone shots at 0.35 seconds are stunning.
It’s better than the previous promo but it’s not amazing. I’m getting very Survivor-esque vibes in the way the promo is done with close up faces. Plus I cringe everytime I see what looks like a Survivor challenge setup.
Feb 1 premiere. Interesting their going on a Monday. It’s more a Wednesday/Thursday show.

It will also give the show a one week head start on the Australian Open. It will be interesting if the show airs twice a week (six week run) or three times a week (four week run).

I think it aired Sunday-Tuesday previously. Not a terrible move and should give The Cube a Wednesday night slot.
Two times a week would be much better. 3 times is too hard to commit to.

Considering the show will be up against the opening weeks of Married at First Sight as well.
But Nine have the tennis at that time.

What I mean is, if The Amazing Race airs twice per week, it will be up against Australian Open in week 2 and 3, and MAFS in week 4 to 6.

Unfortunately I don’t see this going very well up against Seven.
I honestly can’t see Holey Moley being that big of a hit.

That ad/trailer is absolutely incredible - I’ve never really gotten as into the Australian version even back when it was on Seven as it just didn’t stack up to the US version but that trailer really makes me want to give it another crack.

I am not a huge fan of the promo. It’s just close ups of faces and slow motion shots and I’m already tired of it airing every second ad break during Celeb. It still feels very Survivoresque to me too. I would much prefer promos that introduce us to contestants/teams more but maybe they will come closer.
