10 did include it as part of current shows, but perhaps the contracts for 2025 had not been finalised. It’s one of their top performers right now so its future was hardly in doubt.
This week’s guest judge is Lawrence Mooney.
Melanie, Guy, Ting and Takashi, Thank God You’re Here.
Wednesday, 25 September At 7.30pm On 10 And 10 Play.
Get ready to fall in love, because next week on Thank God You’re Here we’re bringing something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue.
Something old? Our legendary returning performers, Melanie Bracewell and Guy Montgomery. Something new? Thank God You’re Here first-timers, Ting Lim and Takashi Wakasugi. Something borrowed? The legend of comedy we’ve roped in to judge the chaos.
And if you haven’t figured out that our something blue is the Thank God You’re Here door… you’ve been spending your Wednesdays wrong!
Tonight
Emma was the standout tonight.
Everyone else was meh.
Zoe didn’t even try.
Marty was by far the best!
New desk for 10NF Melbourne? /s
I agree Emma was great. I thought Marty was funny too, but both his scenarios suited his normal persona lol
This week’s episode was great. Emma really finding her toes on this format - she was hilarious.
Tommy and Marty both great too.
Wasn’t a fan of Zoe.
she was my favourite of the four as well.
Pete Helliar is guest judge this week.
That means he appeared on 10 four nights in a row this week (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and tonight).
And probably on Gogglebox tomorrow when they watch TAR
At the end of Takashi’s scene, Celia revealed that a donkey was supposed to be led onto the restaurant dining area, but it refused to budge.
Goes to show that genuinely anything can happen on TGYH.
I guess it was just being an ass
Melanie was a stand out tonight - even managed to use the missing donkey in her scene.
Nina, Chris, Anne and Peter, Thank God You’re Here.
Wednesday, 2 October At 7.30pm On 10 And 10 Play.
Next week on Thank God You’re Here, four of Australia’s funniest performers have a date with destiny. Like most blind dates, they’ll dress in clothes they wouldn’t usually wear, pretend to be people they’re not, and maybe even make a run for it if things spiral out of hand.
Plucking up their courage and heading through the blue door on Wednesday are Nina Oyama, Chris Parker, Anne Edmonds and Peter Rowsthorn.
From the moment you tune in, you’ll thank god you’re there.
Thank God You’re Here.
Continues Wednesday, 2 October At 7.30pm On 10 And 10 Play.
Tonight was one of my favourite episodes of the series.
But isn’t that Guy M?
Great episode. Guy is just a pro at this format.
Spotted a cameraman in the scene (in the corner near the door) when she mentioned the donkey they went to the wideshot.
That’s because the scene was a reality TV show that featured a cameraman as part of the set-up.
