Seems everyone does. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Well the guy is doing his job. Which is play tennis.

Sorry what?

Enjoying the Australian Open lead-up tournaments. Bring back the Brisbane and Sydney Internationals and return the Hopman Cup to Perth

Brisbane and Sydney most likely wont return while the United Cup gets played in those cities.

AO main draw held tomorrow 5:30pm, on 9Gem.

I think it’s feasible for Brisbane to host two tournaments in a row - group stages of United Cup, then Brisbane International. You can’t just leave the Queensland Tennis Centre dormant outside Summer of Tennis and the occasional Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup qualifiers.

I mean, really, is anyone expecting anything even close to as good as last year? Aussie winning for the first time in 40+ years in one final and the other final one of the ‘GOATS’ in Nadal making and winning in a 5 setter over 5.5 hours…

Always wishful thinking though, so fingers crossed  :man_shrugging:

What a huge loss for this Aus Open, I mean she’s not at Barty-level (yet), but she did very well at was it Wimbledon and the US Open last year and looks like she could truly become something one day.

With the United Cup staying put, i do wish they bring back both the Brisbane International and the Sydney International back as well - at some capacity.

The use of the outdoor courts at Sydney’s Tennis Park at Olympic Park dont get used professionally now since the ATP Cup began un 2020, and now with the United Cup in 2023. Sydney gets less tennis now these days
