I seem to be way off compared to everybody else. I found Skit Happens easily watchable. The nature of skit shows are that some will fail like the penis allergy (which was way too early in the episode to fall that flat) and the Good Hospital, but I laughed at a lot of it.

I couldn’t say I really liked Disgrace but I didn’t dislike it. I couldn’t tell if they were trying to be serious or funny. I know the answer is both but it just clashed with me. Sam Dastyari was fine but nothing special.

And tonight I only laughed once in Drunk History and even now I can’t remember what it was for. But then I don’t find True Stories to be an enjoyable show (Drunk History at least proved that one story for 30 minutes is just too much on True Stories). I haven’t ever been able to finish a whole episode of the US or UK versions either so that is no surprise to me.

lmao those comments
where is the responsible service of alcohol
you’re not catering for young people anymore, but bring back Hey Hey It’s Saturday

I couldn’t keep up with who was and wasn’t catering anywhere with that one. Looks like the full stop key on their keyboard is broken too.

Hear hear.

At least they didn’t want The Simpsons at 6pm, so we’ve moved on at least…

Just another lost soul who wants the network to go back in time and recreate their childhood.

Can’t be a smart cookie if they write like that. Mummy and Daddy need to be shot…

Thought Skit Happens was deplorable, Disgrace similar but liked Drunk History. I’m not a fan of drinking being a recovering alcoholic of 33 years but didn’t find any problems with the drinking on the show. I assume this would be a late night show. Looked very professional after the other two. Hope it’s commissioned by Ten, if not it would be suitable for ABC’s Wednesday night comedies.

She always said it was about the faces being used to represent the shows or host upfront. It was never about man hating or declaring that no women were involved. She made a fair point.

And Ten haven’t done much even since to promote the females that are cast in these shows. Apart from Anna from the Bachelor all the promo has been male heavy

It doesn’t matter though. As long as the content is good and females aren’t being actively written off projects solely for being female there is no issue here. People need to get off the Kool Aid and start think sense rather than playing what is nothing more than ideology, power games and politics which does nothing to improve our society as a whole.

Good concept Ten, carry on as you were.

Having seen Skit Happens it wasn’t too bad, I didn’t find the penis joke funny nor the fridge guy one or the two girls in the van but the other jokes seemed ok. The Waleed Ally one was funny . Felt like the MKR and MAFS joke in the writers room was the same joke. I think this show has potential if they tweak their jokes a bit.

I loved Drunk History especially the bit when Rhys Darby did that bit when he made a joke about the actors having the same voices and not a good thing when you’re married etc. What’s not “stable” this relationship , giving me a ride you b*stard lol.

I just watched Drunk History. Really enjoyable. Hopefully it gets picked up.

Yep, enjoyed Drunk History a lot, have a strong feeling it’ll get picked up, Social Media reaction is a lot more positive than with Skit Happens.

But it didn’t rate well (Drunk History)? What happens if they make a series and it rates 300,000 or so the whole time the whole run in 2019?

Or it doing ok in the demos is sufficient even though total people was low?

Most networks don’t look at total people.

And its a pilot episode and ten are not basing the decision to commission a show off ratings alone.

I found Rhys Darby funnier than Stephen Curry. Was weird a NZ’er talking about Aussie history…

I wonder if it would work better with Rhys Darby and say either Ed Kavalee or even Tony Martin…

Edit lol Tony is a kiwi too didn’t know that …

I agree I found Stephen Curry a tad annoying. Should have Rhys first.
