Veronica Eggleton presented sport in Brisbane tonight.
Sully made some interesting comments in that interview - this portion stuck out to me:
The News division had faced frequent cuts, but Sully believes CBS is reinvesting in its department.
“For too long it felt like we were walking on quicksand. After CBS took over I feel like we’re on solid ground. There is a deliberate investment and rebuild which is slow and methodical,” she explains.
“It’s a really nice place to be. It’s been a long time, but lovely to feel like we’re in a strong growth phase.
This one hasn’t been mentioned but Kimberley Soekov has since left 10 News First.
Kimberley has updated her twitter to Managing Director Press Productions, good luck to her with the new venture.
Behind Lachlan Kennedy, I think Kimberley was capable of getting a permanent presenting role eventually with 10. It is just a shame that she was given limited opportunities to strengthen her reading.
With only one news bulletin a day no opportunities for many talented people at 10.
Indeed, As we saw in 2014 with so much talent leaving. Victoria Murphy, Dani Isdale, Hermione Kitson…
Thursday -

Still had a report in the can as she reported from Manilia on a special investigation.
Does she still work there? Or has she just branched out.
