Not according to the guide you just posted in the 10 Guides thread.

Guess they’ll be continuing the 90 minute news until DOND starts in Feb?

They should be starting fresh 1hr from Monday 1st. Not continuing 90 mins.

You see it as a problem that they’ve committed to the 90 min news until DOND starts in the same slot?

Wondering how that could possibly be considered a bad thing? Would be very easy for them to continue say Bondi Rescue rpts in that timeslot.

And likely back to 90 minute news if DOND fails.

Which would be very lazy. A bandaid fix. They need to be rethinking the whole night not just 6pm.

Few minor problems in the first segment of the national bulletin tonight. A live cross to Victoria with news of a fatal car crash and the storms was abruptly cut short because they “seem to be having a few issues.” However, the feed and the audio were working just fine. It’s almost as if they forgot to time the breaking news at the start of the bulletin and cut the reporter when he was initially supposed to finish. Then, when Hugh crossed to the next reporter via the RHS screens, the first reporter was still up- clearly frustrated that he’d been cut short. Hugh asked for direction from the control room before they eventually got the feed to Sydney back. The first reporter was not seen again (apart from in a package on another story) so relatively not much coverage of the Melbourne storms at all. Paris promised more “at the end of the show.”

Being honest that it’s a show and not a news bulletin.

What does Paris think she’s on? Masterchef?

May be switched/produced from Sydney but actually presented from Perth or elsewhere.

I’m honestly surprised that they haven’t confirmed a presenter yet.

Absolutely, probably the most likely scenario but they could surprise us and do it all out of Sydney.

This is 10 we are talking about, it shouldn’t really come as a surprise.

I’m still holding out hope for local bulletins, otherwise I don’t see the point.
