Ten Network - Programs and Schedules

well it is Live TV, but I’d thought they would stuck to 8.41 or whatever it was according to the EPG not by the promo as it is new season of NCIS.

Is it being live really an excuse? In the UK and US they have live shows and rarely run over time. The UK version is always on time and is live. I just dont understand how you can flag it being live as an excuse. It is a pitiful and disgraceful excuse.

Ten has lost the broadcast rights to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, with the ABC getting the opening gala, the All Stars Supershow and the Great Debate. How is Ten going to fill the gaps in its post-8.30pm schedule in April now?

Probably with repeats of all the old ones they have.

Another long episode of I’m a Celebrity is schedule tonight despite the fact they have been advertising This is Us for an 8:30 start for the last month. This really needs to stop. An 8:50 start is expected by This is Us. If last night was anything to go by it will possibly be after 9 o’clock.

Sabotaging the launch of their new show. That’s Ten, all over.

They even have a permanent stamp on channel 10 stating This is Us 8:30 tonight… I just don’t get it!

Easily?

###New Dramas In The White House.
24: Legacy And Homeland Unveil New Presidents.

Premiering Sunday, 12 February At 8.30pm And 9.30pm On TEN And WIN Network.

More than a decade after playing Texas congressman Matt Santos, who was elected President of the United States in the Emmy Award-winning series The West Wing, actor Jimmy Smits returns once again as a Presidential hopeful, this time as US Senator John Donovan in 24: Legacy.

Smits’ versatile acting over the past three decades has garnered him critical acclaim and 41 award nominations, including Emmy and Golden Globe award wins. He has appeared in such icon roles as Victor Sifuentes on L.A. Law and Bobby Simone on NYPD Blue.

In 24: Legacy, Senator John Donovan is married to Rebecca Ingram, played by Australia’s Miranda Otto, who steps down from her position as Intelligence Officer to support her husband’s Presidential campaign.

Following 24: Legacy, the critically-acclaimed drama Homeland returns for its sixth season. After the sensational climax to season five, the entire season takes place between election day and the inauguration.

Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) is back on American soil, living in New York and working at a foundation providing aid to Muslims living in the US. Peter Quinn (Rupert Friend), who was left clinging to life after suffering a sarin gas attack at the end of last season, is convalescing at a veterans’ hospital in New York but finds himself struggling with his new circumstances.

Joining the cast of Homeland this season is Elizabeth Marvel. Best known for her role on House Of Cards, she plays President-elect Elizabeth Keane. The first episode sees Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin) and Dar Adal (F. Murray Abraham) begin preparations to meet with the new President-elect but they are not convinced she is on their side.

With Elizabeth planning to bring US troops home from the Middle East once she moves into the White House, Saul and Dar suspect that Carrie may be secretly advising the President-elect on national security.

So it probably won’t start until 8:50?

Still no sign of The Great Indoors online on the Telstra TV.

A little too generous I think turdall, given it is an elimination I’d say maybe 9:03.

Ten are almost as bad at starting their post-I’m a Celebrity programming than Nine are at starting NRL games on time.

Another day another late start for the program following I’m a Celebrity. I know all networks do it. I understand it is an expensive show to produce but bloody hell it is the most frustrating thing about free to air television at the moment. I also know the EPG has stated the ‘correct’ starting time but advertising all week has given SVU a 9pm start as has online guides and printed guides.

Understand your frustration, but your rants about it on here aren’t going to achieve anything/are getting a bit old now. Ten probably won’t care either but be sure to contact them also to voice your displeasure of their misleading advertising about start times.

There is also an encore of This Is Us at 8:30 Friday, new episode of Graham Norton now shafted to 9:30.
Another encore is also scheduled for 7:30 Saturday night on ELEVEN just before Tropfest.

I have contacted them. Waiting for a reply.

Don’t hold your breath.

Graham Norton is a filler episode anyway so the later time doesn’t really matter. It’s a best of the big red chair.

Whose Line a rating disaster?

It hasn’t even screened yet. At least give it a chance without being completely negative from the start.
