I’d say Grant Denyer should host
It won’t last until the end of next year competing with Seven and Nine News. If they aired it at 5:30pm and moved 10 News First to 6:00pm and cut The Project to half an hour I would still watch The Chase. I used to watch the original version of Deal Or No Deal from 2009-2013.

What about having a game show at 5pm, then 10 News First from 5.30pm to 6.30pm?

Don’t think they want to touch 5pm. Backfired badly when they did that on weekends with the revolution. Once you move it, it is imminently more difficult to bring viewers back.

Yep. No doubt Nine would jump on that opportunity next year if they are planning on shaking up their lineup too.

Maybe they should look at other game shows. Saw UK game show Tenable on the ABC recently. Would that work?

Chrissie Swan just put her hand up to host Deal or No Deal during her radio show.
Interesting that the story is being reported elsewhere already.
Chrissie is great, but no sure she would be right for this show - she’s already on Masked Singer and hosting WILTYau also.
I saw Ed Kavalee’s name mentioned somewhere else, could be the type of personality to offer something different from a hosting perspective and really own the role.
Casting choice for the host will be absolutely crucial if they’re really committing to going back to a game show format at 6pm.

The early evening line-up for this Saturday has changed a little:
6:00 pm Luxury Escapes (new - must’ve picked up a second window airing from Foxtel?)
6:30 pm Bondi Rescue (rpt)
7:00 pm Location, Location, Location Australia (rpt)
8:00 pm TBA (likely will be TGYH or Shark Tank)
Edit: Confirmed on the Luxury Escapes website new ep encores are screening on 10.

Maybe 10 bought the second window rights because the likes of Miguel Maestre and Melissa Leong are on this season of Luxury Escapes?
