Diabolical numbers, even worse in regional, with SCA Ten nearly beaten by Bold on Monday.

That is the Just For Laughs Australia 10th anniversary specials, filmed in Sydney last December.

Sunday to Thursday is a good schedule. Not so much re Friday and Saturday nights.

The “factual night” didn’t last long. With Friday’s schedule, Bondi Rescue is still in at 7.30pm. The Ambulance/Territory Cops repeats that followed are now out, with the comedy repeats return (HYBPA and Graham Norton).

Movie returns on Saturday nights. Wonder what the TBA is at 9.55pm (and goes for 65 minutes)?

Not a bad schedule by any means, would’ve been good to have something new for Thursday nights following MasterChef.

They need almost year round content for that slot between seasons of Gogglebox, similarly to how they have WILTY before HYBPA? starts. Another season of First Dates?

Slightly surprised they didn’t shift Fire Country to Thursday for some new content there and not run Bull so late.

It will be a brand new episode, the 12th and final episode of season 3.

Still lots of ridiculous repeat programming on Thursdays and Fridays. Other than that it’s not a bad schedule for the week.

Friday’s the new Saturdays for 10.

Friday post 8.30pm has been mainly repeats for some years now. Surely they can slot a new stand-up comedy special there when The Graham Norton Show is in repeat mode. Instead of airing them late from time to time on a Monday night after HYBPA. Even a new show (or a repackaged show of The Project) titled The Week That Was would be nice on a Friday night. Low key. No gimmicks.

As for Saturday nights, i take it that “Crime Night” is on hold for the time being, as they might be on a break in the US (i am assuming)? Hence the airing of the Indiana Jones movies.

Friday repeats of Have You Been Paying Attention usually perform well.

10 still have lots of episodes of CSI: Vegas and NCIS: Los Angeles on the shelf. They will be needed for the second half of the year.

As I posted previously, 10 is repeating Indiana Jones movies ahead of the cinema release of Dial of Destiny.

Decent Sat share for 10’s main channel last night (against SBS Eurovision and AFL too), looks like Indy delivering again, should do so yet again if encored right before the theatrical release too (unless Seven or Nine snatch them back).

However:

What a waste in that timeslot. Is that actually correct? Maybe they’re attempting to hold audience and aim for a larger share that night, but I think will back-fire and in turn ruin this airing.

Fifth (last) in main and total channel share. Eurovision only lifted SBS because other numbers were so low i.e. 200s.

14 May 2022. Ten’s main channel got an overnight share of 2.8% against Eurovision Semi Final 2. (Check here: Saturday 14 May 2022 ) . Last night, it got 7.4%. A huge improvement a year on…

Yes, we all know that 10’s schedule isn’t perfect on most Fridays and Saturdays (and some Thursdays). But last night and last Saturday (with the Coronation), 10 has done better.
