One of Meryl Streep’s only ever polarizing performances, a lot of criticism was drawn at her accent attempt (as petty as that may be).

I guess Aussies criticised her Aussie accent. Wouldn’t be surprised if she copped equal criticism for her other accents from people from those countries.

It is so strange they have no hope in The Masked Singer. What if the show hits 500-700k? Are they going to change this schedule up?

Where has The Masked Singer gone?

Has anyone checked the Peach and Shake guides? Maybe it’s premiering on 10 then moving to multi’s.

Not on any multichannel in the guide. It must be going into the 8.30 Friday slot.

What about The Graham Norton Show which usually air on 8.30pm Fridays?

Very frustrating for the remaining SVU fans, given there are only five episodes in the current season (season 20). Even when Gogglebox finishes its current season at the end of October, SVU may not immediately return to the timeslot.

Woo Double This is us!!!

I don’t think Graham Norton has been in that timeslot for a while. AFAIK it has been replays of HYBPA in that timeslot for some time. Wouldn’t be hard to bump that to another time.

Dive Club will commence production in Port Douglas in late October, with support from the Queensland Government through Screen Queensland. It will air on 10 next year and on Netflix outside Australia.

Is this classified as children’s drama or is it broader than that?

Doesn’t sound like main channel more like Peach or Shake??

It sounds like a new Dance Academy or Blue Water High. They were aimed at older teens but are still counted in children’s programming quotas.

I guess all children’s programming will be on 10 Shake. It’s a shame they don’t run first run scripted programs like this on Ten first.

This sounds great. Glad we are getting some new drama next year. Just strange they are working with Netflix and not CBS All Access.

They have been doing this for a while. Jonathan M. Shiff Productions have had their shows on Ten and worldwide on Netflix for a few years now. They’ve had big successes with shows like H20: Just Add Water and The Bureau of Magical Things.

Presumedly Ten aren’t doing deals with production companies for broadcast outside Australia so they have to look at places like Netflix for additional funding/audiences.
