So why did Ten launch this at 3pm? How long before a program that is actually shown in HD?
3pm: Judge Judy (Has been HD for a few years but shown in SD)
3:30pm: Ben’s Menu (Could be produced in HD but is SD)
4pm: Good Chef Bad Chef (Could be produced in HD but is SD)
4:30pm: Bold And The Beautiful (Has been HD since 2011 but is SD)
5pm Ten Eyewitness News (Produced in HD but news updates point to it being SD)
6pm: Family Feud (Most likely produced in HD but see above and wonder)
6:30pm: The Project (Most likely produced in HD but if the news isn’t in HD, will The Project be?)
7:30pm: I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! (Most likely produced in HD but ??)
8:30pm: Madam Secretary (Produced in HD)
9:30pm: The Good Wife (Produced in HD)
10:30pm: Hawaii Five-O (Produced in HD)
Judge Judy was HD
Ben’s Menu was most likely upconverted - the HD part of the watermark appearing on screen before the Ten “orb” did.
Ben’s Men? A show that’s sure to get the female demographic tuning in!

Didn’t look like it to me. Caps I’ve seen also doesn’t make it look like it’s HD.
I agree. The on-screen graphics during Judge Judy definitely looked clearer than the actual show IMO!
Also, I think they need to tweak the timing of the “HD” watermark addition. Intruding over the text on the In-Program Promotional Graphic for Ten Eyewitness News: First At Five…

The Project is in HD and 5.1 after the news (in Melbourne) was absolutely in SD. It seems some of the graphics are still SD though.
Has anyone seen the TEN HD Clipsal 500 promo? I quickly saw it about an hour or so ago and it looked beautiful.
Yes I have seen it. I agree it looked pretty cool using the same kind of glass elements as seen in the Ten HD promo. They did forget to state that HD is over on Channel 13 in the VO, but other than that it is great.
Just flicked over to watch a few seconds of Family Feud and noticed the PQ is actually pretty good!
I don’t think Family Feud is actually native HD. The news in Sydney definitely was, though.
One is still in 1080i HD on SC10.
But they are broadcast using the same technology?
