Returning from ad break
Then… colour logo fades to this
Then… promotional watermark comes up… this time for “I’m a Celebrity”
It would appear that promotional watermarks are alternating between “The People v O.J. Simpson” and “I’m a Celebrity”, changing over at each ad break.

I’m not sure if it’s because Pyrmont has got better equipment or what, but the 3.30pm Sydney update had better SD quality:
Aside from that, the watermark/PRG are about the only things I’ve seen in native HD so far. Judge Judy and Ben’s Menu as well as the ads (even ones that are shown in HD on other channels) and promos shown during them looked very SD to me.

Just saw a Ten HD branded promo… it was in SD facepalm

Same with Dr Phil, looks like SD upconvert.
So glad there was no need for a re-scan!! Change of res for ONE made no difference to any device and 13 was already scanned

Is it true that Southern Cross have been in talks with Ten about selling their regional tv assets ?
Other stuff I’ve heard is 9 will merge with SC and Win will be left to to do a deal with Ten. Guess that is all speculation.
Though people still reckon SC10 HD will be here before the end of the year. I guess I can wait 9 months. Won’t be happy if it is 12 months. 6 months seems reasonable.
I hope the quality of Ten HD gets better. I’m a bit disappointed to be honest.

Same here. Aside from the watermark, PRG and In-Program Promotional Graphics, everything I’ve seen on Ten HD has looked very SD so far!
Unfortunately, on Foxtel cable, one is still on channel 210 in glorious SD, although the epg says one HD. It’s ashame that their part owner can’t launch in line with the terrestrial broadcast.
