Which is fair enough as long as it does the job then that’s good then.
I love looking at Street View and the like.
Apple’s Look Around equivalent is great too, a lot more comprehensive than I thought it was, but naturally can’t be accessed on Windows or Android.
Me too. Pity the updates along the remote roads & many township streets still haven’t been updated since 2008 though - that’s 15 years now.

I wonder why that is. I do know Katanning, WA hasn’t been updated since 2008ish. But I must admit I do like seeing the places where I used to live and how much has changed.
Got the 15 inch M2 MacBook today. What an amazing machine. The speakers on this model are soooo good, and I came from the 13 inch M1 Air.
I rarely have my phone on silent besides in the doctors or a meeting and I am 31, does that me old lol ![]()
The tech giant has announced it’s retiring My Photo Stream, an album that automatically stores your snaps from the last 30 days.
As part of the shutdown, My Photo Stream stopped uploading snaps on June 26 and everything in it will be lost when the album gets deleted on July 26.
Picked up a Mac Studio a week back (2022 model) at a decent discount - it hasnt left the box yet
my 14" M2 Pro MBP has been so good, best laptop I’ve ever owned - and the screen, while it has the notch, still is a good screen for photoshop/video editing
If my iCloud has been full for years I wouldn’t be affected, correct?
All great machines. I opted against the Pro model because of the added weight. Wanted a bigger screen with the same portability. No regrets so far.
16 inch Pro felt way too bulky.
Well looks like my almost 6-year-old Samsung 43’’ has died so got this:

i bought a second hand 2020 pro with 16gb of ram and a 1TB HDD. paid a smidge over $1000 for it and it’s been one of the best laptops i’ve had. I don’t think i’ll back to an Air ever again
I too have a 6 year old TV (Sony X9000E 55 inch), it’s been a great TV no issues, sometimes I wish it would die so I had an excuse to upgrade to an OLED TV ![]()
I was slightly out when I posted this. I forgot I actually got it in 2018 so it’s almost 5 years old not 6. I was the same though lol. I actually thought my tv was going really well apart from it running a bit slow. I thought it would at least make it to next year then the year after was when it would go but I was way out lol.
I used to buy a lot of computer magazines back in the late 90s / early 2000s (when I got my first computer in 1998).
This morning in my cupboard, I found this CD (from back when most PC magazines included a CD of some sort)… Naturally I doubt anything on this would work anymore, but some history here, with copies of Netscape Navigator and a Y2K patch for Windows 98!
Oh this brings back so many memories!
This is how I always updated RealPlayer, WinZip and Netscape on my computer.
Not to mention this jingle every time you started up RealPlayer.
I’ve finally got space to sort through a lot of my old CD’s and stuff and I’m looking forward to going through them all. I haven’t even started and I’ve already found my OS discs for Windows 95 (version C I think), Windows 98 SE, Me and others. Plus I have a massive box filled with these magazine ones too going back to about the mid-90’s.
Realplayer? I hated having to use that however don’t forget Winamp really whipped the llama’s ass!
